Right now Romney believes in a below average chance of rain in Charlotte. Check back later to see what he believes.

They weren't lost. Posters like that couldn't comprehend the board rules (repeatedly) and thus, we were eventually saved from their stupidity.
And yes, I recognize the irony of that statement.

BTW - am I the only one who thinks that calling today's version of the GOP the "Party of Lincoln" does a great disservice to Lincoln?

Despite what twa is trying to say in the Romney thread - the current GOP has moved quite a bit to the right.
Earlier in the decade I voted for Republicans that I thought were good candidates - it's becoming increasing hard for me to do so because the party is run by a bunch of lunatics.

Excerpts: Kerry to extol Obama foreign policy record at DNC
Rep. John Lewis is speaking.
Very emotional.
Talking about his experiences in the Civil Rights movement and the GOPs voter supression tactics.

The 10 pm to 11 pm Eastern time slot is what counts. Political junkies like us catch the fiasco that was the vote on the DNC platform, more people caught the Eastwood / Romney debacle or Clinton, and most just catch the highlights on the news or hear about it from their friends at work. That was why the Eastwood thing was so bad, nobody talked about what Romney said. This was his major speech before the election, and it was overshadowed by an old man yelling at a chair.

Yahoo: Steelworker Featured at DNC Didn't Work for Bain
If you read the article, there's one of those political "well, if you look at it sideways, then it's kind of true" things in it.The Democratic National Convention on Wednesday featured three speakers billed as "former employees of companies controlled by Bain Capital."
They each told compelling stories about jobs lost, allegedly because of the actions of Bain under Romney's leadership.
But it turns out one of those employees never actually worked for a company controlled by Bain Capital.
But, still. Assume this is going to get hammered.
(And, IMO, rightfully so.)
Aside from the platform Snafu (and that was a snafu, no matter how hard its spun), I think that the DNC has gone very smooth for them. I still think the planners messed up on the BOA stadium move and blaming the weather, but that doesnt say anything negative about the convention as a whole.
All in all, they did well from every person I have heard from who was there first had (and thats alot )
Conservatives cant trust Republicans
