I don't hear specifics, just generalities. How does he plan to do all he says he wants to do, how he plans to pay for it and specifically how much it will cost.

Nothing special with speech. He's just catering to the people who was going to vote for him anyway.

Remember, Congress must pass the bills to implement Obama's vision. If the House remains in Republican hands, if the Senate cannot get rid of the super majority or gets more than 60 votes, Obama's vision will not get done. Just like the situation we are in now.

No specifics on how he plans to do those general things he wants to happen.

Those final votes that will decide this election will need those specifics from both men, which both failed to provide in their speeches.

Not just the base, but the speech was for all US citizens, ALL OF US! Republicans do not speak to all of us, have no policies to lift up all of us.
