They've got age all over the place. I really hope we're entering an era where both the Yankees and Red Sox aren't contending for a few years.
I don't think NY and the temptations it offers actually appeals to Hamilton. I suspect he ends up in Anaheim or somewhere in the mid-west (if he doesn't stay with the Rangers).

My money is on them keeping him.

No worries. Giants got the Cards just where they want them.

    Just ask the Reds.

Giving Josh Hamlilton $100 million and dropping him in New York City sounds like the tackiest reality show ever.

That's what I was thinking. Would seem like a terrible idea for him to go to any big city.

I can't believe this is Barry Zito doing this well in a pressure situation.

The Red Sox hired John Farrell from the Blue Jays today. It is unknown what compensation Toronto will receive in return.

I don't get that one. Why would you trade your manager to a division rival? Does Toronto feel that lowly about Farrell? Should we just move Toronto to another city and call it a day? Seriously, this really looks like the Jays aren't even trying. They're like, "eh, we'll just find some other no name to keep us at 75-85." Head scratcher for sure.

Looks like pitchers and catchers will be reporting for St. Louis in February. Their season is over.

Buy this man a beer on me. An epic collapse for the Red Birds since the 1996 NLCS.

The layoff is going to hurt Detroit. SF in 6.
