Chipper is taking Kemp's spot so maybe Harper will make it anyway

Panda absolutely should not be starting, but Posey has a legit claim. He is excellent defensively (as is Ruiz), he hits well in the hardest park in the majors, his power is equal to Ruiz. his average is lower than Ruiz but he draws walks almost twice as often as Ruiz so that is kind of a wash, and he calls the pitches for a top tier staff on a team that is winning because of its pitching.

Frankly, if anyone deserves to start over Posey, it would be Yadier Molina, not Ruiz. Molina is the best defensive catcher in baseball, and his offensive stats are equal to both of the others.

Looks like Miami and Milwaukee had themselves a wild one today. 13-12 in 10 innings. Sheeeeeeesh.

I bet Mariner's fans weren't happy seeing the two pieces of the Erik Bedard trade blow em up today. Jones with an upper deck homer and Tillman shut em down.

Shame he got it during a loss. No excuse for getting swept by Oakland.

What did you guys think of Cano getting booed last night at the home run derby last night? Personally I thought it was pretty funny and deserved since Cano originally said he was going to pick a KC player. I'm surprised about all the broadcasters/sports personalities crying about it and bad mouthing KC fans.

That Pujols contract is gonna come back to bite the Angels if Trumbo and Trout are as awesome as they appear.
