That's a beaut! You should rip the NFL shield off the front like Art did to make it a "true" authentic. See Mark The Homer's jersey thread for more info on why he did that.

I would have, but the NFL shield has glue underneath it and it would be almost impossible to get the adhesive off. I know that Monk always said that he was an employee of the Redskins and not the NFL. I believe that this is why he chose not to wear the shield. Monk did wear the shield in '92 and '93 as I believe that the NFL caught on and made him keep the shield on as all jerseys worn have to be exactly the same. I am not sure if he wore the shield for the entire '92 season, but I have seen a good number of photos of Monk that season with the shield still attached.
