just caught hardy's double play.. that was awesome.

so last year our ERA was 4.89.. so far this year, it's 2.79, good for first in the AL and second in the majors (nats with a 2.41 era)

our bullpen has been the best in the majors so far. 8 innings of shutout relief yesterday.. this is a game we lose 9/10 times in the past decade. im also pretty happy that kevin gregg did not pitch yesterday.

With Reynolds having the potential to get hot, and his power, I think we need to give him some more time. I said yesterday that there are better options, but Tejada is not the answer. Reynolds can still get it together.

Hope Hammel can go deep today cuz the bullpen got a lot of work yesterday. Just struck out Ortiz- 17 pitches so far two outs in the first.

Don't like the double steal attempt there. 1st and 2nd one out with Markakis at the plate. Chavez is fast but he's 34 and it's hard to steal 3rd.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree. Tejada will not solve anything and might just throw a wrench into things chemistry wise.

Tejada is no answer. MRen will be fine. Pretty sure he started slow last year too. Take his glove, though. It's defective.
