I would say he IS the best, but I'm also a homer and don't watch much baseball outside of the O's (and the occasional Pirates game because of where I'm at). So clearly my opinion shouldn't be used for much.

As a consolation prize, we're (likely) tied for the best record in the AL.

I can be presumptuous here because the Orioles aren't actually playing in this game.

EDIT: I suck at reading standings. Texas would have to lose again tonight for us to be tied for the best AL record.

The moral still stands: When you go to bed tonight, the Orioles will either have clinched the playoffs or will be tied for the best AL record.

a little frustrating that tampa didnt lose today or yesterday. i would have rather faced them when they were out of the playoff picture.

anyways, all we can do is take it one game at a time. i cant believe no one has clinched a playoff berth yet.
