I would have been happy with a winning season but the O's playing post season ball in October?
Priceless.

“I just wanted to say to the fans … in D.C. and across the nation, they’ve been great for us, cheering us on. At away games they show up in the masses and at home they really made it feel like a home-field advantage. We said this when I was in college, ‘We got a chance to sit at the dinner table and experience success and it was a good meal. But now we want to go back to get dessert.’ We’ll be ready to get dessert next year.”
Robert Griffin’s last words at the press conference.
Has your team made a choice yet of who they're going to throw opposite Darvish?
Man, I played against Joe Saunders in high school, and went to some of the same baseball camps as him. I'd go with Steve Johnson.
I'm hoping it's Johnson. Saunders has some more experience, but I don't think I trust him.
I'd go with Johnson. Rangers hit lefties WAY too good. If we win, we can start Saunders Sunday against the Spankees.

Redskins 2013 Opponents:
Home- Dallas, NY Giants, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, Kansas City, San Diego
Away- Dallas, NY Giants, Philadelphia, Green Bay, Minnesota, Atlanta, Denver, Oakland
Saunders in that ballpark and against that lineup...
Honestly, I'm starting to think he deserves it more. The AL West is definitely a tougher division than the East, and they won it all. We have an X-factor in that baseball has already seen what Oakland is capable of with Billy Beane pulling the strings. They have an X-factor in that, even though we don't like to admit it, we aren't exactly a team full of nobody's. Matt Wieters and Adams Jones didn't exactly come out of nowhere-- they were pretty highly regarded prospects who've both been in the bigs for a little while now.
The playoffs might change things, (and honestly both guys deserve it), but if you forced me to choose right now, I'd have to go with Melvin.
There's a difference between, "jumping off the bandwagon" and having a bad feeling about the game. Jumping off the bandwagon means you have given up on a team and are no longer a fan.
Also, it doesn't feel like the playoffs yet to me. If we win tomorrow, then we are in the playoffs.
