I know, I know. This season is more than that. One game out of first on Sept 16 and holding onto a wildcard playoff spot. But if you offered me 82 on April 1, I would have jumped up--spraining my knee-- to take it. In July, I would have taken it. Hell, even a few days into August, I would have taken it.

Win or lose down the stretch, our boys made it to 82. Winners.

I hope for so much more to come.

Agree. You know, I've been thinking, as long as they fight to the end, I'm OK if they don't make the playoffs. Been a hellava run and watching the Redskins implosion yesterday gave me a better appreciation for what the Orioles have accomplished this year when nobody gave them a chance in hell. We have also discovered some new players that will come into spring training with a legitimate chance to help the team take the next step. Bravo to the O's and good luck the last 16 games.

Negative. He's pitching Wednesday.

He hasn't looked good since his no hitter. I worry more about facing rookie pitchers. They seem to have our number.

Right after I posted it I was thinking the same thing. It's the rookie/no-name guys we have trouble with it seems. The guy pitching for Seattle tonight (Noesi) is 2-11 with an ERA of 5.5 or so. He's the kind of guy who normally gives us fits.

Nice bounce back win for the O's. Made me proud. Macho Man might force Buck's hand and move him up towards the top of the lineup before too long.

Would've liked to win the series, but was nice to not get swept. We should go at least 4-2 this week I think.

The good thing about the final couple of weeks is that Oakland, LA, and the Rangers play each other quite a bit. The O's now have 13 straight games against teams under .500 so I'll be disappointed if they don't make the playoffs.

he beat us last year in his rookie debut. he pitched 4 innings of no run ball and got the win for the yankees in the 12th inning.

that was a rough loss.

Indeed should be seeing him very soon. Thank goodness. Although seeing Chris Davis out in the outfield is painful, seeing Endy Chavez at the plate is even more painful.


We desperately need Strop to snap out of his slump. Also desperately need Tillman to return to full strength this game, the pitching is weakening I fear.
