We need to lock him up long-term soon.
I hope they make good decisions because they're some big ones in the pike. Wieters should be a no-brainer, but they have Andino and Adam to mull over too. Andino may have semi-decent trade value. Can Machado play 2B you think?

So a number of days ago I mentioned that a bunch of friends and I are going to the O's vs Nats game on Saturday May 19th to turn DC orange.

We're somewhat cheap bastards... so about a dozen of us are getting tickets in the outfield seats next to the bullpen. Decent price of $26 a ticket.

I hope to see a lot of orange and black at the game!!

I'll be at the O's games in DC next friday and saturday. We need to take atleast 1 from Texas. A split would be great but we can't come off a 4 game sweep to play TB. Hopefully Chen can have a decent start and we score some runs. Good thing is our main bullpen guys got a 2 day rest after the marathon series in Boston.

I think Machado could end up at 3B for us. He's got more a 3B build than a SS or 2B. But I definitely want them to re-sign Jones and Wieters for sure.

I'm glad I was there last night to witness 4 homers. It was awesome to see history like that. I was standing right next to the guy who caught the Markakis HR ball with one hand without even flinching. Almost as impressive as Josh Hamilton.

Rain is trying to keep Hamilton from hitting 4 more HRs tonight!
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

A double header in a later series is really what this team needed.

So a single ticket DH tomorrow against Texas.

I don't like the sound of that...

Texas doesn't come to Baltimore anymore. They have to get the games in today.

This could get ugly...but maybe the DH will allow us to split today by taxing the Rangers too? I expected 1-3 coming into this series, so here's hoping we get that.

Good God I hope the wind is blowing in and not out at the yard. Hamilton doesn't need an assist.

Machado could move to 2B, but I think he'll stay SS and we'll see Schoop move to 2B. We've gotta lock up Jones and Wieters long term though
