With Snyder, Kyle and Mike Shanahan, and Bruce Allen in Waco Texas for RG3's Pro Day the last few days, who actually met with Josh Johnson? I'm sure JJ understood why they weren't there, but wouldn't he have preferred talking to Kyle or Mike to get a feel for the offense and how he would be utilized - even as a backup?

Hopefully the QB coach LaFleur stayed behind, at least.

The Redskins remain in talks with free agent OT Demetrius Bell. (#31 on top 100 FA's)
The best tackle left on the market, Bell's signing would likely signal the end of Jammal Brown's time in Washington. Bell would also provide insurance for LT Trent Williams, who was suspended for the final four games of 2011

Also: Who i'd like to see brought in... even though we won't

    31. Bills offensive tackle Demetrius Bell... should be a given. See ya Jammal Brown
    35. Saints cornerback Tracy Porter... OR... 48. Steelers cornerback William Gay... Cut HALL or Trade!
    50. Seahawks linebacker David Hawthorne... especially if this Fletcher thing keeps going in a circle.
    52. Redskins linebacker London Fletcher... see above
    74. 49ers offensive guard Chilo Rachal. See Below:

"Still only 26 and the former 39th pick in the draft, Rachal may draw interest from the linemen-needy Redskins. Rachal should come cheap, and Washington OL coach Chris Foerster was Rachal's position coach in 2009-2010. "
    http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4851/chilo-rachal

    87. Chargers fullback Jacob Hester... If Hightower is not resigned. Yes, they are different positions technically. Hester is listed as a FB. Id like to see Hester/Hightower as our goaline backs.
    91. Bengals defensive tackle Pat Sims.. Could come cheap. Run stuffing specialist! Had an injury riddled year and should now be 100% and ready to plug. Could split time at NT. Cheaper than Aubrayo Franklin

I factored in age and ability and these are all youngsters that could come cheap and definitely help out our team. Id have no problem putting Hawthorne in the ILB spot Day 1 and seeing him ball out.

Not to mention that statistically he had his best season last year.

London asked quietly for an extension back when Vinny was running the show, because he wanted to retire here. They ignored him and kept signing big name "do nothings" to huge contracts. Did London ever whine about it? No. He just kept doing what he does best...crushing ball carriers. See Brandon Jacobs.

Now his contract is up, and he's looking to get paid for the last time ever. I'm not saying that we should give in for the 8.9 million, but if we did I wouldn't cry about it. The guy has earned his paycheck and we will eventually give him the best deal out of anyone out there and he will resign.

London deserves every penny. And he deserves patience and consideration from our fan base. He represents everything that is right about our team and the game we love. When he goes to Canton, he'll be wearing the B&G.
Well, it's not Bruce or Mike's fault for what Vinny didn't do. I know Fletcher is a humble guy, but maybe his agent should have approached the FO last year about an extension like they tried to do with Vinny. Again, I love London Fletcher. I WANT him to re-sign here. BUT, only if the numbers fit well for the team first. I'm about the team and winning a SB, I left my player loyalties out the door. I want Lombardi's at Redskins Park, not individual accomplishments.

It only takes a couple of hours for them to fly back last night to DC, talk with Josh and they fly out to California in the morning. Not that hard when you have your own plane.

I can't find any recent articles that say the Redskins(Shanny, Allen) will attend Luck's Pro Day. I can see out scouts being there.

At the same time, I don't see any saying they won't be there. I couldn't imagine them not going, though I do recall some quote about them 'going to watch another "great" quarterback tomorrow.' Something in those words, but I just can't recall where.

I'm 99.9999% sure they will be there.
