Some good thoughts in here so far.

One guy not mentioned for his versatility yet is Darryl Young. Former LB. Has proven to be a great young blocker at FB, with good hands out of the backfield and a shifty yet powerful running style.

Grossman is very versatile as a clipboard holder.

Hmmm, I'm not really sure who on our roster is versatile like Hernanadez. Maybe Davis, but there's not a lot of players who I think could line up across multiple positions. We might be going a different route altogether from the two ways to beat defenses you mentioned though. Our guys aren't Megatrons or CJ2Ks, and they're not super versatile in terms of their positions, but I think next year we'll overwhelm defenses by just being flat out faster with a bunch of guys who run 4.4s out there most plays.

Actually, you'd probably put RG3 at QB and Grossman at TB (Notre Dame Box)
A bad plan well executed may work. A good plan badly executed will always fail.
