If what they say about Shanny is true, I don't see him staying here after his contract is up. They specifically said that he cuts bait with people that he feels aren't going to help him get a championship, and we all know he doesn't like people talking about things they shouldn't talking about, even if it's to a fan. What's to stop Haslet from starting to talk to other teams starting yesterday concerning a future job elsewhere? If I've learned anything about the NFL is that coaches that are as engrained in the NFL as Haslet is, don't have a hard time find work, despite w/l records. Just look at Romeo Crennel.
I personally have a bad feeling about the fact that Has knows his replacement has been hired, that his captain on the field doesn't like him, and that he can't hire his own guys.
I hope they keep this going it was great
Honestly, that part of the whole thing really made me cringe. I absolutely love the inside track TK, Jsteelz and LL give us but, at the same time, I keep thinking to myself they're walking a very dangerous, and thin, line. We've seen the media latch on to things they've said before and use them as sources (of course, anonymous ones) and it's scary to think that this could become a big fat diversion in the locker room if the media starts focusing in on it.
Now, this may be a way for the Redskins FO to really get in Haslett's head and it may actually be a desired outcome for him to know so as to either light a fire under his butt to prove his worth or to prove he doesn't have what it takes and fold up. Still, I worry. I'm guessing that any info these guys do get it's info that the FO doesn't mind being leaked anyway. That's what I'm telling myself anyway, lol.![]()

It's possible maybe even 100% true but you still can't convince me that tanking will do any good at all and they he still doesn't want to win.
Really enjoyed it! Good work guys!!
Thanks PG!
It's so surreal to actually hear all these ES legends' voices lol
S/O to Leap, TK, & JSteelz in the podcast. Required listening for all Redskins fans!! HAIL!!!
First, I've never used the word tank or implied it. My only implication is that he would lose motivation, the way most people would if the writing was on the wall. Did you listen to the podcast? As near as I can tell, these aren't conspiracies. Raheem Morris would be the replacement if what they are saying is true. I've never tried to convince you tanking was what I am afraid of. I'm afraid of a lame duck defensive coordinator, a year after the defense showed improvement.
This was awesome. And I'm sure it'll get even better once the pace starts to pick back up after the draft and the start of mini camps, etc. Do you guys plan to keep going, even during the regular season?
Yes I listened. First, calm down I'm not attacking you. Second losing motivation and tanking are the same thing. People in the Nfl talk to each other all the time. Coaches are suppose to try to want to win and if they don't players and everyone else in the league will know. So my point again is no need to worry about this he will coach his best for this job even if he knows it may only get help him another job next year.
Let me ask you guys this.
Since it clocked in at right over an hour, was it to long, not long enough, or just about right?
“Hey, about an hour ago, all right, their [defensive] coordinator [Juan Castillo] told us, told [offensive line coach Chris] Foerster, that [if] the Giants would have lost last week, they were in the playoffs,” Kyle Shanahan said. “He didn’t mention that they had to beat us today. **** him, **** these guys. In 2012 the Redskins are gonna be the NFC East champions, and that starts right ****ing today.”
