unlike the capitals, this team is going to bring a championship home

Buster just tweeted this Gio Gonzalez this year: 61.2 IP, 33 hits allowed, 79 strikeouts.

I really hope so. Seeing this team win a pennant would be just as good as seeing the Redskins win the Super Bowl. Seeing the Nats win the World Series would probably put me in a joy-induced coma for months.

Oh yeah. They've still got some proven all-star caliber players on that team. Nats have been getting it done with primarily unproven young guys.

Yeah, but they have been singing the praise of the Nats most of the game.

With ATL you have a team coming off of a season where they blew a huge lead to close out the season. The loss of those 3 guys has hurt them mentally. They almost look like they've given up

I missed the early part of the game

How did Gio give up 2 ER's on 1 hit in 2 separate innings?

I saw he had 3 BB's, but its still not making sense to me

3 BB's and a wild pitch in the first?

1st inning: Bourne BB - Stole 2nd on the very 1st pitch, SAC, FC to score
3rd inning: Bourne 3B - SF to score

I don't remember the WP in the 1st.

Got it. A lot of small ball played by the Braves there

Should be on nationals.com already, they usually have 30 second highlights. Ball jumped off his bat.

Yep...Gio was a bit off the 1st 3 innings. Only gave up 1 hit but walked 3-4 people.

Then he got his groove on, Nats tied it 2-2 and then blew it open against our old buddy Livan. Harper's HR was a thing of beauty after looking really stupid striking out on a 63mph Livan curve the previous AB.
