You'll know you've got the bug when you start evaluating the pitching matchups of divisional opponents on Nats off days, just hoping for a loss and an extra 1/2 game edge.

Second note...**** Baltimore. Lucky sons of bitches got our 4-5-1 starters last series; we lost two close ones and Strasburg win easily. This time around, they're getting our 3-4-5, missing Stras, missing Gio, and getting to face Wang, who I still think is a downgrade from Detweiler. Stupid Orioles.
Baltimore's been streaky recently, maybe we get a chance to bring the brooms up to their place!

Youre rooting against him everytime he comes to the plate so you can come back to this thread and say "Hah! Told you!" Unfortunately for yourself, you have been wrong, very fortunate for Nats fans thought that Desmond is doing well, my bad

Not to speak for Tulane Skins Fan, but you're way overstating his position on this.

    Flying Vince Lombardi x x x x x x x x x x x Ryan Kerrigan... Funky-style

Yea, that's just not accurate at all.

    Hope that was worth it.

The good news is that I'm going to the game, so I'll be on the lookout for the biggest slut I've ever heard of in my life.

    And so it starts: http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/yan...-future-yankee

By November, 2018, The Decision could be in the hands of Bryce Aron Max Harper. At that time, Harper will just have turned 26 ... and he may be the undisputed king of baseball.

The Yankees will no longer have the contracts of Alex Rodriguez or Derek Jeter or Mark Teixeira. There will likely be new big names with big deals that take their place, but surely they will find enough money to pay Harper, if he wants to come.
I think my favorite is that he was "recently" caught on Twitter cheering for the Yankees. When you click on the link, its from October of last year. I wouldn't say that's recent.

I am absolutely shocked this came from ESPN, shocked I tell you.

ESPN is probably already allocating a 90minute block of time for Bryce.

    Typical New York arrogance.

Just like LeBron was supposed to sign with them.

The Lerners are the wealthiest owners in baseball.

If we get to that point and get out-bid by the Yankees I'll be mad. If he leaves because he wants to play in the pinstripes, who can really blame him?

Hopefully by 2018, he'll have multiple rings with the Nats and will want to hang around and continue the dynasty

Yeah they love them some Bryce. Don't get me wrong, he's amazing, but give him a few years.

That's pathetic journalism...I forgot the Yankees are entitled to every great free agent ever. What you never saw was Griffey secretly played for the Yankees not the Reds in 2000 onwards.

Yeah I was just about to say that.

Harper won't be a FA for six more years. By then he'll be a legend in D.C. He won't leave.

I think the worst "journalism" in that crappy write up was the Harper "recent" tweets from 8 months ago
