Well we take first if we win and the Yanks lose so I have a vested interest in it. There is this thing on my remote that says, "Last," on it. I'm rooting for the Nats to beat the Yanks ass, not trying to, "troll." Our yard gets taken over by Yankee fans and Sox fans all the time.

With big, huge mouths. Same species as PHL fans.

RZim continues to be unable to pull a ball to LF. Everything he hits deep is to RCF or RF.

I know they continue to pitch him outside. He's got to adjust. He keeps getting beat down badly on outside pitches.

Yeah, but we've been spoiled so far this year. The team looks a bit ragged tonight. Maybe tired after a pretty intense roadtrip.

Early day game tomorrow might play into the Nats young hands. Outside of Pettite being on fire, the older guys might be tighter for the Saturday 1pm game.

    Gawd Espinosa SUX batting lefthanded.

him continuing to bat lefty and the team allowing it are killing the team at the plate at this point. at some point, you just have to hit from the side of the plate where you can actually hit a ball.

Gotta give credit to the Yanks. Their pitchers pretty much shut us down. It's amazing Derek Jeter is still so reliable after all these years.

Was at the game tonight and great to see the Bombers win. But I have to rant for a second...

WTF is up with Washington fans?? Every time I see a game live for the Skins, Caps, or Nats, the crowd is always just so ehh. There isn't much passion compared to other venues I have gone to. There is nothing but ppl making small talk the whole time and ppl walking up and down the isles in the middle of a pitch (I ******** HATE THAT **** and this is especially true of Nats games). Nobody got into the game except when the Nats scored. No cheers after Gio was throwing strikes or nothing. It's like the fans are just there to be there. Us Yankees were 100x louder the whole time. I just can't stand that about DC fans sometimes. I feel like we have wayyyy too many wine and cheese fans. (and please despite my Yankee allegiance, I am DMV born and bred)

It seems like a lot of the middle class residents of the D.C. Area have been priced out of their communities (especially in D.C. proper). Also, Washington has always been a city of transplants. Hard to find a lot of hard core fans in a town where people only stay for a few years before retiring and moving away or getting a job transfer.

Still as unproductive as he's been since the DL. He needs to be replaced or moved down in the order. He's a sever liability right now.

He needs some serious work with a hitting coach. I don't know, I watched Morse struggle early on last year because the pitchers would jam him during every at bat. But to his credit, he figured out how to hit those pitches and turned around his season.

Zim? He continually watches pitches cross the middle/inside part of the plate. Then with 1 strike, they throw nothing but sliders or fastballs to the outer part (or off) of the plate. He's hitting to RCF & RF, but often they are ground balls to 2nd or 1st. Or he Ks.

I think they should bump LaRoche to 3rd, Morse to 4th and move Zim to 5th. Davey has been patient enough waiting on Zims bat to get hot.
