No one here disputes that winning is key to restoring interest and passion with the Redskins. The trouble is the Redskins aren't winning of course. How far off on the horizon is true contention? With the Nats you saw the plan and felt progress every year after Rizzo was promoted.
Also I disagree the Redskins ever truly bottomed out. We wouldn't have had to mortgage our future so heavily to get our QB if we had. This is going on year three of "a little worse than mediocre" and the only thing about the team that produces any hope is our rookie QB. Aside from him, we're treading water at best. Eight home losses in a row is just sad.
