Has anyone here bought standin room tickets for Nats Park? Is there a certain area where you can stand or can you go all over the park and stand wherever you want and find place? E.g. the tables behind the stand in the 300-level would be good places to stand if you find something behind the plate.

Ross has been a terrific story. We were all but ready to run him out of town as a bust or demote him to the BP but something clicked for him last year. And even though he showed signs last year, I didn't expect him to have this good a season this year. Proud of him and proud of my team.

Yes, that was me yesterday. Standing room is fine. Get there early if you want to grab one spot. They let you stand most anywhere that isn't blocking seated fans. Last night we were on the top level for half the game. Then middle level for a few innings, then scoreboard walk for the end. It was nice to wander around. Everybody with a Curly W is family there.

Ok, a break from Werth. I wanna give the game ball, along with Werth to Ross ****ing Detwiler. Certain people in this thread had zero faith in Ross to deliver yesterday. Well, eat your crow. Ross pitched a hell of a game. The only starting pitcher to do so as well. Hats off to you sir.

PS: Take on Me is one of the greatest one-hit wonders ever. From #1 on the charts back in 1985 and on MTV with the famous music video to now...this was so loud on TV too.

As great as yesterday was, everything starts over tonight at 0-0 come first pitch. This team has to forget about Game 4 and concentrate on the task at hand. This team is more than capable of winning tonight and it's just a matter of execution.

I'll admit it, I had little to no faith in Ross to come out and win us the game, with the way the bats have been on both sides I thought he'd at least give up a few. He proved me wrong, and I love him for it! If he ever needs a cuddle on a cold, lonely night, I owe him one. Or something like that.

Did they do this in game 3? When I watched it, i don't remember them being this loud. I remember them doing against the Phillies last week, but not in game 3. Anyways, it is funny.

Gone, but not forgotten... RIP RP

I don't remember if they did it or not in game 3. They only play this song if its towards the end of the game and big AB for Morse. I doubt with the game 8-0 he had what would qualify as a big AB in Game 3.

But, this has been going on for a couple months now... its loud every time they do it.

By the way, if someone is there for this, the last line is "I'll be gone... in a day or twoooooo!"

I thought that was Morse song for all his at-bats. What's his regular song then?

He has a few. Mixes it up. Definitely only play that late in the game when he's up and we need a hit. They will play it when we are winning... but they won't play it when we are getting crushed.

Also, for anyone on spotify, just search washington nationals and listen to tracy tran's playlist. ha.

Wow, finally someone in the media does his homework on this issue instead of just spouting off.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...ing-in-game-4/

In the seventh inning on Thursday night, pitching out of the bullpen for the first time in the majors, Jordan Zimmermann threw the most electric inning of relief since baseball returned to Washington. And afterward, the stoic starter said he wants to be available for Game 5 on Friday, too.

“I’m ready for whatever,” Zimmermann said. “I could throw three days in a row if the fans stay the way they are. I didn’t really feel anything.”

Zimmermann typically throws his fastball about 94 miles per hour. He blistered 97-mph heaters past Pete Kozma. He struck out Kyle Lohse flailing at a 91-mph slider. He moved ahead of Jon Jay with two 97-mph fastballs, and then, on his 12th pitch, froze Jay with another 97-mph fastball over the outside corner.

“Probably the most a lot of people have seen out of me,” Zimmermann said. “It’s hard to hold it in with 45,000 people screaming.”
If he wasn't such a damn good starter, he would be a dominant closer
