Thanks, that sounds good. I've only had seated tickets before, but e.g. after buying food in the 300-level its nice enough to stand behind there while you eat. Where in the middle levels can you stand? Last time I was there, I felt it was kind of a lounge area and then straight out to the seats and no open spaces around or behind the seats?

Hi all. I have a chance to score fairly cheap tickets in the scoreboard pavilion tonight. Section 238. (I think row M or N, but I'm not sure). Last year, I sat in a scoreboard pavilion section in center field, and I couldn't see the warning track. Does anyone know if Section 238 (right field second deck) has the same issue? I think I'm going to go no matter what, but I'm just wondering if I'll be able to see the warning track at all. Thanks!

I hope everyone has a great time at the game tonight!! If you get a chance to check it out, get some jerk chicken from Jammin' Island. I may be a little biased since my aunt and uncle own it, but it's good! (BTW they didn't tell me to post this. I just happen to be quite homesick right now and am craving their food.)

I enjoy the use of the Fugees "Ready or Not" when Clippard comes out.

On the sides of the club level you can see from the stairwells. Also, some of the open areas have standing tables you can lean on, but they fill up. The scoreboard walk was PACKED.

I always look at that place but have never tried. It would be cool if they offered some online coupons we could print out and use there.

    Redskins Players Have Nationals Fever

Andrew Walker on October 12, 2012

(Outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan (middle) with Washington Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman (left) and outfielder Bryce Harper (right) earlier this season at Nationals Park)

You weren’t alone if you jumped out of your chair last night when Washington Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth sent shockwaves through the D.C. area after crushing a walk-off home run against the St. Louis Cardinals to force tonight’s decisive Game 5 in the National League Division Series.

Several teammates on the Washington Redskins were also tuned into the game and went directly to Twitter to tell everybody about the game and Werth’s tremendous at-bat, which lasted 13 pitches until it ended.

It’s, of course, not the first time in recent memory the Redskins players have gotten behind a D.C.-area team battling in the playoffs. Remember when they got behind the Washington Capitals during their playoff run last season?

Anyway, here’s those tweets from last night’s Nats thriller, starting with quarterback Robert Griffin III:

Heck yeah. That is probably one of my favorite beats of all-time. I am getting goosebumps just thinking out it.

    I gotta say something....

It's funny how much things change when you have complete trust in your team. When the Caps, Wizards, and Redskins are in crucial games I am miserable. Reason being I knew that those teams are going to disappoint me. And more often than not, they do

But for some reason, I don't have that feeling with the Nats. I am freaking boosted right now. I can probably punch right through my desk right now. That is how pumped I am. When we got blew out in games 2 and 3, I was pissed. But I still knew that this team was going to fight and that we weren't going to stop until we were put out.

Watching the pitch tracker on MLB.com and seeing we were still tied at 1 after I stopped listening to the radio around 5:00, I knew we were going to pull this out. When Werth stepped up to the plate, I had a feeling he was going to hit the home run. Do you know how awesome it is to see the first two pitches go for strike, and then 2 pitches go ball, and then see your hitter foul off pitch after pitch and then just see HOME RUN!!! Flash across your computer screen. It was epic.

I think we get the W tonight. We are in our park, with our ace, and there will be over 40,000 fans going crazy. I respect the Cards, they are the champs. However, I think we are riding a huge momentum wave and I think we have a team that thrives under pressure to the point where they play better when things are on the line.

I am not going to be at the game, but I will be around the corner. I will feel that electricity coming from that stadium tonight. I hope the players feel it too and use it to their advantage.

The Caps knocked off the defending champs. Now it's the Nats turn to do the same.
