Perhaps this isn't the time to say this, but whatever.

This game was in no way a sign that DC is a cursed sports city. It was a sign that the Nats are young and weren't able to put away a team in the PLAYOFFS that has had a knack for rallying.

DC had a playoff caliber team in a year that they weren't expected to do much. I know you guys were really excited that they were going to do something this year, and I know that the city as a whole has been striving for some big time success in any sport, but it's not that bad. **** happens. Especially in the playoffs.

It's year one of a multi-year process. They'll be back next year, and will have something to prove.

So keep your heads up. You'll be back next year too.

This game had nothing to do with him. It had everything to do with not any runs but 1 after the early innings and Storen just blowing it.

We're gonna need a Closer. Storen is not gonna recover from this. It'll be another Lidge like career meltdown.

Davey should retire. He's too old and out of touch.

    Hmmm, I don't know.
A lot of the professional sports writers and reporters based in DC I'm following on twitter seem just as depressed.

Sorry but why should any of us listen to one word you have to say?

People with the "hold your heads up high" talk need to seriously shut the **** up. If you're not allowed to vent and rant and be miserable right now then you never are, so just let us wallow and *****. I didn't say **** in the O's thread earlier because I didn't want to be that ******* guy.
