He remains an interesting project. He's got breathtaking raw talent... a 100mph fastball and a snapping curve. If he ever learns control - of his fastball and his emotions - he'll be deadly.

Relief pitching is the most volatile position in all of sports. Guys who are great one year suck the next year and vice versa on a regular basis. Wouldn't shock me if H-Rod had an all-star caliber year next year, because that's just how relievers work.

michael gonzaleaz is gone as well. next year we need kimball back and Mattheus is going to play a bigger role next year. HROD, Mattheus, Clippard and Storen. who else is there now?

Craig Stammen, Zach Duke, and another lefty that is yet to be signed. They are talking to JP Howell so hopefully it'll be him as the markets running pretty thin for decent lefties in the bullpen.
