Soriano still gives us a bunch of late round righties. Maybe we can send Clippard to the Twins and get Alex Meyer back, as long as we're in the re-aquiring business.

Sucks Morse is gone, but ya'll are right that he was the odd man out at this point. This team on paper does look better to me then last years squad, so it will be about consistent hitting, especially in the playoffs, to see how far this team is going to go. Front office is acting very aggressively, and that's what I want to see out of any sports team I root for. The Nationals want rings...

part of me feels like Morse will be back in Washington one day. Maybe I'm just being hopeful. Seems that he and the Org have a lot of respect for each other.

The AL West is going to be tough.
Seattle finished in last place last year and they still won 75 games.
They've added Morse, Kendrys Morales, Jason Bay, & Raul Ibanez this offseason.

He has 1 year left on his contract, right? I can see him having a monster-contract year in Seattle and then hitting free agency for a big $$ contract to close out his career. I doubt it's here. I'd love to see it, but I think he's destined to be a DH for a big market team in 2014.
