This pitching is so good that this team will have a chance to win almost every game it plays. We'll have to rely heavily on Zim and LaRoche. It's good that Espinosa is coming out of his funk right now.

I just hope the pitcher's keep doing what they've been doing and not thinking they have to be perfect with every pitch.

With all the crouching and moving a catcher does back there, what chances does Ramos have of being what he was becoming? He couldn't be a full time catcher in the future, right?

Of course he can be an everyday catcher in the future. He's young and will have almost a full year to come back from this.

ACL tears aren't the death sentence they used to be, just like Tommy John surgeries aren't for pitchers(look how dominant Strasburg has been).

Realized it's not the smartest thing to do to use my actual name as my login ID. When I was signing up a few years ago, I thought the field where I was supposed to put my ID was actually asking for my name LOL.

I worry a little more about him long term because of all the stress being a catcher can put on the knees overall. Might take him a little longer to get the explosive moves needed to be a good defensive catcher.

The problem is that Ramos and Flores are a on a different level when calling games. the pitchers completely trust ramos and not flores. I'm not worried about offensive production, i am more worried about how the games would be called now.

I know they would never make the switch, but Bryce used to catch before they moved him to the outfield.

Looks like a ton of rain in the Cincy area today. Wonder if they'll get it in.
