Five runs is the most this franchise has scored on Halladay since the Blue Jays played the Expos in 2003.

(And yes, I normally hate the Nats=Expos stats/history but I just thought that was interesting. Shows how dominant Halladay is and why tonight is so awesome.)

Great stat...gotta have some history I guess. And it can't be the Senators so I guess it has to be the Spos

Wait, I don't understand, where are the two automatic walks that Nats opponents are supposed to get in the ninth inning when they're losing? Wasn't that a rule change this year?

I think it should be the Senators. I'm a big believer that team records and history should stay in the city where they occurred. Ravens not taking the Browns records, yes. Indy taking the Colts records (and name, ugh) no. Johnny Unitas has nothing to do with Indianapolis, like Walter Johnson and OUR 1924 World Series win has **** to do with Minneapolis

Anyway, where you at superozman? I feel like mocking someone

With the Braves losing, we're back on top by a half a game.

It's strange feeling calm in the 9th inning with a lead.

See, it's not that difficult to get three outs and save a game. No wild pitches, no tomfoolery. Clip ftw. Also, Citizen's Bank silent is glorious. And we own Philly. 6 straight in that park and 13-3 in the last 16. Ownage.

Speaking of mockery, Slateman has been conspicuously absent from the thread for awhile. Remember his preseason hating on Ian Desmond, and on the Nats chances in general this year?
