Dude was $$$ in his PH role and was able to spell LaRoche at 1st. He had 13 hits & 12 RBi so far this year.

Sooo....what happens when Morse returns? All of the OF on the roster, except for Nady, are LH hitters. I would have said Nady was the one to go, but now I'm thinking they'll have to move Bernadina or Ankiel. I would expect them to keep Brown up or return him to AAA if he struggles and recall Moore (since he is a natural 1B and could spell LaRoche).

btw...who is the backup at 1B if LaRoche goes down before Morse returns?

Harper was impatient in the minors because HRs get you noticed. not walks and OBP.

Anything Harper did or didn't do would get noticed because of who he is.

For the average prospect trying to make it to the majors, walks & OBP are among the most important things they can do to get noticed.

Marrero was expected to fill this role before his injury; I don't know how he's progressing from injury.
