Wow, I didn't know that. He's pretty good. I don't really pay that close attention to the opponents. I reserve that kinda energy for football.

Stat on Medlen. Braves are on a 7 game winning streak everytime he takes the mound. Also He caught 8 looking on his 13 K's. 8 looking. Damn, he is on fire.

We should have the pitching edge the next two games with Jackson vs. Hanson(who we own)and Gonzalez vs. Minor.

I miss Bubble Screen's boy Jair Jurjens. Guaranteed we score 8+ runs everytime he's on the mound against us.

    HR #30 for LaRoche

I didn't think it would leave the yard, but it kept traveling.

Nats get 2 runs in this inning on pure hustle by Lombo and Edwin Jackson, and some bad defense by the Braves

That was horrible call by the first base ump, Ejax let it get to him, now we're tied.

That was a gift from the Umps at 1st. The fans should be singing, "Thank you Ump!" This game isn;t tied if he puts his glasses on.

This series has been poorly called, IMO. The calls behind the plate have been fairly questionable as well

Announcer just compared Chipper Jones to Mickey Mantle.

Am I wrong to find that outrageous?

I sincerely hope they can get past that & get the lead back & keep it, despite the home cookin from the umps going on.

I don't know. That looks like "on the bag" to me. I've seen recently where they called a runner out when the 1st baseman came off the bag when the ball was still on it's way to him. The announcers said that the ruling usually goes in favor of the 1st baseman in cases like that. Well, wait. If the guy can take his foot OFF the bag & the umps usually favor the 1st baseman & then THIS time his foot DOESN'T come off the bag & they call him safe???

    Sounds like nonsense to me.

Seriously, is it between umpires and this team this year. First Hernandez, then Bucknor, and now this clown. This game has the feel of the Cardinals game a few weeks ago and now this game.

    Good Job Gonzalez!!

This game has been frustrating. Thank God I had a football game to keep me going thru it.
