Unless the seemingly better team can steal one of those games on the road, which the Nats are more than capable of doing.

WC teams are a good bet every year in the LCS.

The Giants won the WS from it. So did the Marlins...twice. I think the DBacks did too.

    Me too man, that sucks.

2011- Nats scored 18 runs in 7 games.

2012- Nats scored 45 runs in 6 games (including a 14 and two 9-run games).

Again, playoffs are a different animal. And having players who have been there and done that is beyond beneficial.

I still think its a good matchup - especially since they (Nats) shut down their best pitcher a few weeks ago and the Giants have added some bats and got back a few players since we last played.

I kinda want that matchup in the first round. Let the Reds deal with the Braves and/or Brewers and/or Cards. Brewers and Braves scare me.

You have been watching too much ESPN. Strasburg, since the All Start break, hasn't been our best pitcher -- or even our second best pitcher. Gio has been light years ahead of Stras since the All Star break. Detweiler has been as good as Stras since the All Star game.

And keep underestimating the Nats "lack of experience". We thrive on the disrespect, just as an untested SF Giants team did a couple years ago....

Every playoff team is good. Every matchup will be difficult.

WOW. Just missed out on my tickets I was trying to score on Stubhub, section 314 for $130 for game 3 of the NLDS. So I looked around more, and found a random set of 4 in section 110 row E for $125! That's a solid $30 per ticket less than anything in that section.

The untested team that had 3 everyday starters with WS rings?

The only thing untested about that team was the pitching staff (in the playoffs) and the ROY catcher. The rest of the team was veteran castoffs.

The Nats do have players with experience... DeRosa has a ring, Laroche has a ton of playoff experience... They aren't totally green either.

Werth and Jackson on the Nats have rings. And of course, Davey Johnson has as much experience as any manager in baseball.
