How the heck does my post end up after your response?
Because this forum is undergoing voodoo right now

RIP royallypwned.
Well....this sure is a ball game, now.
Sorry, Chipper, you were out...
But I would rather play the Braves...even though I hate them more.

Thanks to Selig, the Nats get 3 days of rest before playing a red hot team who believes in themselves
Good luck
I'll say it again, the wild card idea was stupid. Everything was fine as it was last year.

I can't believe the Nats have to play 2 games on the road to begin the playoffs when they have home field advantage. WTF! Is Goodell the commissioner of baseball too?
Seems like they changed the format from last year
Last year was 2 1 1 1 IIRC
Now it's 2 3
What kind of crap is that
My home town was carved out of swampland.
@chthomas91
I'm not going to sweat this matchup against the Defending World Series Champion Cardinals. If a team wants to be looked at as a legitimate contender then they can't afford to show fear in the face of any matchup in a playoff series. We all watched the Capitals in the same position against the Bruins and witnessed them pull it off, I want to experience championship environments and this will be that type of scenario.
if you want to be the champs you gotta beat the champs
Format for the division series usually is 2-2-1. But in the past it was 2-3, and MLB made their regular season (ended on 3 October, which seems later than normal) before the collective bargaining agreement was ratified which approved this second wild-card stuff. The 2-3 format they went back to is only for this season.....it'll be back to 2-2-1 next year.
