That and Werth's catch in the outfield were beyond huge. So much could've gone wrong in those sequences, yet it worked out perfectly for us.

Am I the only one who doesn't even really care the skins lost? VT lost too and I could care less. All my hopes and dreams for this year are tied to this team and one team is all I can handle right now.

he is the only set up guy, minus Tyler in the 8th, that I always feel comfortable with.

All four of our RPs were great though. Really bailed out Gio.

Hope JZimm gives us a good performance tomorrow. If we could return home up 2-0 that'd be huge considering Mr. Roulette Edwin Jackson will be up for Game 3 and anything can happen when he takes the mound.

Also, Danny's bunt was major too.

Wish I did. The Skins always manage to piss me off. But man this Nats team is a pleasure. I feel like we've suffered enough as DC fans that we deserve SOME happiness.

Whatever phase we've needed to step up, has stepped up. This team doesn't really have any weaknesses. At least not that any realistic fan could expect of their club. It's a beautiful thing.

I watched the skins today and, aside from the Kerrigan pick 6, not much excitement or emotion out of me. But I'm on the edge of my seat, screaming like a maniac and scaring the neighbors over every base hit in this game. This team is special. They pull you in hard.

I'm on the fence with that one, it worked out in the end though.

He only bunted because he was deathly afraid of not making contact. Reading between the lines of Davey's presser, it seems like Danny made the call to bunt himself.

    Wish I could.

This Nats win only eases some of the pain of the Skins loss.

Davey johnson won this game after switching out Chad Tracy and getting Tyler Moore up against a Lefty.

It's kind of shocking to me how little passion I feel for the Skins.

Don't get me wrong, the Skins are my team but something has changed.

The Nats otoh, are different. I FEEL every defeat and victory.
