problem now is that we might play Roger every day at RF.

apparently hamels threw at Harper intentionally to welcome him to the majors. I bet a suspension is coming. Harper responded after the game saying that hamels is a great pitcher and not sure why he would do something like that

    2013 will be our year.

Too many things conspiring against us on offense this year.

Werth finally starts to contribute, and he breaks his wrist.

Oh wow a clean break. He's not coming back till July or August. Well, now we have to weather the storm until Morse returns.

Tough break for Werth. But taking 2 our 3 from Philly is still good.

You have no shot of getting tickets. Unless you want to pay $$.

Bullcrap. I got Game 5 World Series tickets for about $150 when the Phils were down 3-1 in the Series to the Yankees. WORLD SERIES TICKETS.

You can chirp about what's happening in the stands b/c you can't say squat about what's happening on the field. 12-5 over the Phils since last year. To borrow the screen name of a former troll here: WeownU.

Well when you have stuff like this floating around, you have to look tough whenever you can and however you can

That's just getting started on that *****

Glad they took the series. The injuries are well beyond bumps and bruises now. Just hope tomorrow Zimmerman and LaRoche come back healthy and stay that way. Looks like Harper and Moore will be up for a bit longer. That's a lot of youth going on.

As far as Hammels, I actually wish we didn't retaliate at all to that. I think its a stupid "tradition"....and even dumber for Hammels to admit he was going for that.

Heres to a strong road trip.

I don't think we'll see a suspension. Maybe if he was throwing at his head. But a pitch to the back isn't that serious. It was taken care of when Zimermann beaned Hamels.

    Jim Rome @jimrome

Cole Hamels dotted Bryce Harper intentionally, calling it a "welcome to the big leagues." Then he stole home on you Welcome to Planet Harper

It's fine we lost last night. We still won the series, we're still in first, they're still in last, and nobody is talking about the Phils today. It's all about Harper. So, whatever.

No need to continue arguing with a Phillies fan, the series is over and they are still in last place. It would be good for the National League, MLB and the "game" itself if the Phillies and Nationals were battling for a division in a few months, as we close the season at home against them. However, let's not continue talking about them and giving them any more attention than they deserve :P

Day off today for Davey to figure out what to do with RF, and get a better timetable on Storen, LaRoche and Morse. Zimm back in our lineup against the Pirates, hopefully no setbacks.

What do we do with RF? Harper is capable in both LF/CF. Ankiel has played primarily CF. Would they move Bernadina to RF? He doesn't have a good arm does he? I doubt they would put Moore out there, but maybe 1B and Tracy in RF? Nady? I guess we have some options, but nothing strong.

I think he suspended himself when he admitted he did it intentionally. Baseball big wigs usually don't like it when pitchers admit they're going hunting. Had he not said anything, I think it would've got swept under the rug.

We are 6-6 on the road, with 3 of those from the sweep the Dodgers gave us. Hopefully we can win these series against the Pirates and Reds to get our road record to at least 10-8.

Harper is igniting some much needed excitement for a team who keeps losing their hitters.

I would hope they don't suspend him. It wasn't malicious, there was no stare downs from him and Harper. Even later, when JZimm got his retaliation, there wasn't any yelling or bickering about it from the clubhouses. It's baseball, and I hope they don't take that away from the game.

I want to see Moore get a couple starts in a row in the outfield, get some good ABs under his belt to see what he can do.
