Their round projection is irrelevant to Shanny.

I like this pick and I trust Shanahan's take on OL more than 99.9% of the experts/pundits/coaches out there. This guy could be a day 1 starter depending on if Lichtensteiger can't regain his form.

I love this pick! Looking at his pro day interview on youtube and he seems smart, funny and willing. I have a feeling he will become a cooley 2.0 in terms of his funny attitude and will be a fan favorite for years. That's the right attitude IMO. Do you think Belicheck gives a crap about where the "experts" have certain players projected?

Heck, Kiper's big board today had some of the same "best available" last from the top of the 4th through the 6th, and a couple weren't even drafted, and that was his top 10.
