Mike Shanahan on the building momentum "I tell our players, let your play do your talking. Talk is cheap."
Hey, not to try to stop a party, but at this point it's kind of moot. He's a Redskin now and a fine prospect. He certainly has the potential to help down the road (saving money if we don't need a vet back up in a year or two if nothing else).
I think it is time to swallow some of this woulda, coulda, shoulda, and welcome a second rounder who we got in the fourth round. Welcome Kirk.
(I mean three days of whining should be enough, shouldn't it?)
Kirk is interviewing with the Junkies on 106.7 right now
Yep. Should be,but rarely is. Now I start these threads so that there's a specific place where folks can welcome and discuss the pick, however since the time I started this, another thread,(started much earlier than this one),that specifically talked about this scenario popped up. Hence why there's been a "suggestion" that all debates about the pick of young Kirk should be directed there. Apparently, that was missed by many. So with that in mind, what say,(again and for the last time),we welcome the young man here and direct all future debating and/or whining to that thread.

For those participating in that, feel free to copy and paste some of what you posted here in to that thread,(in the interest of saving time among other things) Oh. Cheese and crackers will be made available as well.![]()

While I'm another non-fan of the pick, he's a Redskin now so I'll support him and wish him the best of luck. If we gotta carry 3 QB's on the roster this year, so be it. I just hope he's a quick study!![]()
Is THIS sig small enough?
I look forward to having Kirk on the 'Skins. Never hurts to have another guy who is dedicated, hard working, and a winner!!!! WELCOME KIRK!
Reminds me a lot of Chad Pennington hopefully minus the career ending shoulder issues. "Super-smart" ultra competitive. Again, I am stoked to have him on the team.

Thanks for the movement on those posts guys. You're awesome and it's appreciated.![]()
Skip Bayliss just implied that the Redskins season holders, at least many of them, are racists. You are pathetic, Bayliss.

I agree. There's no guarantee with RG3 and we kinda hedged our bet. Kirk will be learning from the sidelines as a young rookie and develop more slowly ala Aaron Rogers. It could work out or he could be awful, but he's young and has great potential... The more I think about it... the more I like it...
Being a Redskins fan prepares you for life.
Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.Originally Posted by suze109

The fact that we got him in the 4th round, IMO, is great value. We have some type of insurance in case anything happens to Griffin injury wise, and we also have a guy we could parlay into higher draft picks in the future if he plays well.
I was scratching my head at first blush, but the more I thought about it, the more the move made sense to me.
just read the mind training article on him. pretty cool stuff. iirc RGIII did a study with gatorade to help his nutrition.
the amount of tools these guys have to gain an edge in training is just preposterous.
