how can you complain against a guy that found Davis in the 6th round and ended up being as valuable as Elway winning two SBs?

This is one of the guys I am going to be extra interested in watching. Shanny & Co. have done well by us so far at this position and if he turns out to be a keeper it could be a pretty exciting picture of youth, depth and talent.

"Captain, it's a viewpoint--not one of ours! We're under attack!"
"I see it, ensign! Engage amygdala! Transfer all power from frontal lobes!
Suspend critical thinking field! Go to course heading of reflexive response 101 at full bias!
Now!'Enter' at will!"
"It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so."
I currently attend FAU and know the guy personally. It's very possible that he becomes our starting FB....Shanahan knows!
Not a huge fan of drafting a running back when we have 3 that will compete for carries. However it is a 6th rounder/
Helu and Royster are competing. As of right now Hightower isn't signed and the sophomores aren't too good at pass protection.
jumbo im with you on excitement...shanny at his presser when asked if he was going to be a fullback said no no no this guy is a running back, clearly he knows something that everyone on here doesnt. Cant wait to see the kid in action. Im pretty certain he makes the final roster as well.
and i know this is a thread about alfred, but im warning people to keep a look out on lennon creer. I just knew shanny would bring him in. never averaged below 5 yards per carry his whole collegite carreer. at tennesee and his current spot. skills

So you really want 9 Offensive Linemen drafted? Seems like overkill to me. This isn't the 80s and the Hogs are not the most important position out there. Quarterback is. And yes, you need OLinemen to block, but Shanahan has always been able to find them to fit his scheme. We drafted 3, how many more do you want?

Et too Brute??
I knew he'd take one. He always does.

He wasn't drafted to carry the load. He was drafted as a TB/FB hybrid like Mike Tolbert.
Redskins 2013 Opponents:
Home- Dallas, NY Giants, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, Kansas City, San Diego
Away- Dallas, NY Giants, Philadelphia, Green Bay, Minnesota, Atlanta, Denver, Oakland
Note to Alfred:
My favorite Redskin of recent years was Rock Cartwright. He's the only player I've ever shelled out the money for an authentic jersey.
Rock, for his career, was 5 for 5 on 4th and short, and was 14 of 16 on 3rd and (2 or less).
I'm cheering for you to do better.![]()
We've been liking this guy from day one, apparently lol![]()
Nice find Cali, loved watching this guy live yesterday.
Per nfl.com...
Morris is a thick running back and a bit of a tweener, not big enough to be imposing at the next level![]()
Heh....love the people screaming this was a wasted pick before ever seeing Morris run...Been some really fun bumps this season.
I bet there's more than one poster in this thread that's glad they were wrong about this being a wasted pick. Who'd've guessed, right?
