This was a super cool move.

One of the classiest moves by an NFL organization to do. Just curious. Is he from Tampa or a Buc fan?

Neither. The Bucs new coach was Rutgers' head coach the time LeGrand was paralyzed.

Nice move, but now the Bucs are going to have to eventually be the A holes who cut the guy.

In an era where there is a lot of selfishness in pro sports on all sides, it is nice to see something like this occur. Puts your faith back in professional sports that they do in fact realize there are more important things than their greed and independent glory.

You think that's what he cares about? Or that he was, in fact, signed by a pro team? He knows that he's probably never going to play again, but he still made a pro team.

As long as he's on the roster, he can get the medical care the team provides, right?

I'm not sure if he was being sarcastic. My sarcasm meter has some activity when I read his post, but not sure.

He gets a #52 jersey, a helmet, and a ceremonial contract. No money, etc involved. From what I heard Rutgers/NCAA insurance takes care of the rehab/healthcare, etc.....for now.
