Not a bad review, but I'm thrown by the last remark: Tied for fourth, but not necessarily with a losing record.

Are you predicting that the low water mark for the NFCE is 8-8 this year?

Thanks! My fat fingers intended to push 3.. But I think you guys do finish with an 8-8 record or better. I truly believe that the NFC East will be decided by 1 game.. 9-7 wins it or 10-6

Really appreciate the future HoFer London Fletcher comment, not many people are aware he has played at a HoF level his career, I don't think Cedric Griffin can even touch Josh Wilson, Cedric kinda sucks. I agree that the biggest question mark is the inconsistency on the offensive line and the very shaky secondary, I don't know why we really cut Atogwe and let Landry go, I liked both of them a lot. I think our running game is overrated, I really don't expect a huge jump from last year to this year, I think we will keep an average running attack going into next year.

Great video though, I really enjoyed it.

Thanks!! Yep, Fletcher may not do a "Dance" after every tackle or sack.. but he's always making impact plays! I also agree with you about Atogwe & Landry.. I actually thought that was a solid combo. Don't underestimate that running game of you guys...Trust me, RG3 will take at least 2 guys out of the box.. There's a reason Chris Johnson hasn't looked the same since VY left Tennessee..

Nice Review. I thought it was very accurate and knowledgeable. I am also really looking forward to the improvement in the running game both by the young guys being in the system another year but also simply because of the threat RG3 provides to the offense. Should do wonders for the ground attack.

atogwe was coveted by haslett, but just didnt play well. not sure if it was more injuries or age, but he wasnt fitting in, despite familiarity with the scheme. landry looked good his first game back last year vs dallas but after that seemed invisible at times. i think the coaching staff believes he'll never be able to play at a high level without getting surgery on that achilles.

on paper, it was a great safety tandem. unfortunately, i think both needed to move on for the best interests of the team.

Thanks! The fact that RG3 has the intellect to throw the ball away or run to get what he can instead of turning the ball over, should easily add 3 wins to the W-L column

That could be a reason! As a Saints fan, I know how Haslett can be when he loves a player.. we watched these guys go out and seek the services of Tebucky Jones

You really do your homework. I enjoyed watching that and agree with everything you said except our record and where we finish.

Also, I don't think our secondary is quite as bad as you make it sound. Jackson, Meriweather and Williams will all be ahead of Reed. Same goes for Gomes. That's not a bad 5 safeties.

Thanks Koolblue! Meriweather is the wild-card in my opinion. This guy oozes with talent, but for some reason, can never put together a consistent season

This is a pretty good video, probably the best you've posted on ES. Although I can't resist the urge to mention the name 'Alshon Jeffery'

I think this system will do well for him. I love the possibilities that Tanard Jackson brings to the secondary too. That guy can really light somebody up.
