I want to go back to Ireland. It's so green and natural and beautiful.

    Cliffs of Moher

Both of these are in Dingle, Ireland and I took them on horseback

It's crazy. There are so many different types of beauty, too.... it really just blows my mind how much wonder there is on this planet. There are so many places I want to (and will) go before I die.

Jumbo check my post #43 http://www.extremeskins.com/showthre...=1#post9049129 and the Shanahan avatar you use, the resemblance is quite beautiful.

This was from the last day my best friend was alive, miss her everyday, thank you Lord for giving me this dog for fourteen faithful years. Oh, and this great Mango Momma Tree that has survived H. Charlie, H. Wilma, too numerous to count families of birds and squirrels, two boys and four dogs and still going.

SWFL, #43, awesome. The kids in this thread rule.

PCS, I have always so into high-end audio most of my life, and 80% of the hobby/interest money (tons of it) and so much time went there for so many years, that photography never took hold. But I always liked it and always knew if it wasn't for the audio I'd have gone more in that direction. You are always amazing in the pics you bring to this forum. It's a true service to ES.

Thanks, I had just caught that out of the corner of my eye thought it was worth mentioning. Feeling sick today so ES is a good waste of time I think.

I am posting some new photos in PCS photo thread, there are some really talented people here on ES and PCS is certainly one of them, I have enjoyed a great variation in taste and talent both by the camera and the written word. Truly a great site to enhance life if that is your choosing, or you can argue that player X should be picked up off waivers and given the Vet min + incentives. just a choice really/

Again thank you. Though I can't take credit for others work. Only 3 of the pics I've posted are mine,(apologize for any confusion. I edited to clarify). As I stated earlier mine don't do these places justice,(and couple I've been around and by,but really to them).

Speaking of beautiful. One of too many to count places that I'll be moving pretty close to in a few weeks.

Eagle Falls in the Lake Tahoe area.

As it should be, fortunately for me I crossed it off when I was twenty three and have some amazing stories from there. Wished I had stayed longer actually. Met John Denver there, and actually sat and talked to him at the end of the Ski event he held there. Two dozen bushels of oysters were flown in from Chesapeake Va. and nobody but me knew how to shuck them, pretty funny how that happened as well. Ended up meeting John, Arnold, Susan Anton, Sonny Bono and other celebs. Got to keep the second bushel.

This was at Heavenly Valley where I worked on the backside restaurant at EastPeak. Skied everyday after lunch rush as I road the cat up to work at 5am. Heavenly, Alpine Village, Squaw Valley and the other ski areas there offer some great skiing and summer activities. You should go, and go now.

My favorite portrait by Yousuf Karsh. It inspires me when I look at it. A renewal of true goodness and hope.

That's one of my favorite portraits of Grace Kelly. Tired and beautiful.

Here is another one of my favorite portraits of her. It's from Philippe Halsman's Jump Book (1959).

The regal beauty is gone for a moment and she looks like just a girl.

These are two more of my favorite portraits from that work:

    Eva Marie Saint

    Brigitte Bardot

While on the subject of beautiful women from the 50's and 60's, how about these LIFE magazine photographs of Sophia Loren in 1961 by Alfred Eisenstaedt:

    Wow.

To me the word that best fits her is beautiful. Not graceful, not ethereal, not waifish, not elegant, not charming, not sultry, not vampish nor any of the other words typically used as more specific descriptors of female beauty. She's just a beautiful woman.

I watched the game in Baltimore with a bunch of friends and not so friends.
Most all of them hated the redskins, and me, being me, had spent a few hours running my mouth with these Natty Boh drinking pinheads.

first play of the game, Broncos 80 yard TD... they're laughing.
Redskins punt, elway does the reverse with the pass coming back to him, and they're REALLY laughing.
    10-0, and Williams goes down.
These clowns are now quite LOUD and in my FACE and STOMPING around as if something was good. (These clowns can't even put two and two together and realize that Elway is why they don't have a team anymore)

Shroeder comes in and gets sacked, and I owe my friend 20 bucks. He bet me that Schroeder would play.. So now they're all really really laughing, because my friend is an ******* and is almost as good at taunting people as I am.
They showed Williams warming up on the sidelines, and he had the look in his eye..
So I started getting loud,, and when Williams trotted back out, I literaly stood up in front of the TV and said.. "Alright Ladies and gentlemen... it's HERO TIME."

Doug did not disappoint, and after a little while there was only one person laughing.. and i was QUITE loud about it.

I think this qualifies for the standards of beauty.
