I watched the game in Baltimore with a bunch of friends and not so friends.They showed Williams warming up on the sidelines, and he had the look in his eye..
So I started getting loud,, and when Williams trotted back out, I literaly stood up in front of the TV and said.. "Alright Ladies and gentlemen... it's HERO TIME.".......

That's really a great shot not just because its beautiful in general, which it is, but also because of the technique. His use of deep focus, and depth in general, is impressive.

That's really a great shot not just because its beautiful in general, which it is, but also because of the technique. His use of deep focus, and depth in general, is impressive.

Depth of field can be pretty darn important when it comes to landscapes and the tips and tricks for that are very important to learn and learn quickly. I like what he quite possibly didn't do with that pic as well.

Post a single picture of something beautiful, inspiring or elegant, along with a short explanation of why you chose it. Awe us. Show us something worth looking at.

Btw,cool thread. Interesting to see the diversity already in the thread,(beauty,as they say,is in the eye of the beholder). And I need to go to Antelope Canyon.

Actually, one of the things I most appreciate about this thread is that so far no one has been critical of someone else's definition of beauty.

Picture I took from the car in Idaho as we drove from Charlotte to Seattle....

Driving across country was probably one of the coolest experiences of my life, definitely recommend it as a bucket list item...

I LOVE the sight of wind turbines when I'm driving through the middle of nowhere. There's something so peaceful and relaxing about them.

Unfortunately I've yet to catch a good photo of them from the car

True and PCS has a pic thread that features mostly landscapes, I thought this thread would have more variety and offer some interesting views, after all beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. Such drama is not needed.
