You know, it was only 3 years ago (2009) when Colt Brennan vs. Jason Campbell was the Training Camp story in DC. And how if the stupid coaches would just put the guy in, we'd win the superbowl. Fast forward:
1. Colt goes on IR.
2. The 'Skins fall apart in 2009. Zorn gets fired.
3. Shanahan and Allen come in.
4. Trade JC.
5. Cut Colt.
6. Colt tries out for the Raiders. Fails.
7. Colt tries in the UFL. That doesn't work.
8. Skins make do with Rex and this guy named John Beck for a year.
9. Then draft RGIII.
10. Colt gets arrested again.

I am so glad that guy is nowhere near my team.

I never understood the obsession. He played in a Run-n-Gun system that got debunked against the big boys. I'll never forget that game. Then I was mortified when we picked him and buried when I saw that cult of colt crap. Where's all the other collegiate passing phenoms? Did any of the other UH,Texas Tech, or Houston QB'S make it in the NFL? No, because gimmick offenses don't work in the pros. Ask Tebow, you gotta be able to do it all.
