BTW - I think USC is going to roll Notre Dame in 11 days...and ND will still get an at-large BCS bowl.

An 11-1 Notre Dame is absolutely deserving of an at large bid.
i don't have a problem w/ that. If the irish have 1 loss they deserve an at-large BCS. what i do have a problem w/ is if they are in the Rose Bowl vs. the B1G 10 champ. That will essentially be the 2nd or 3rd best team in the B1G and it will be a terrible game. ND beating Nebraska in a snore fest will tell us absolutely nothing about how good this polarizing Irish team really is.
I would love to play ND in the Sugar Bowl. But the SEC will likely have to play Louisville as thier punishment for not making it to the Natty. My dream scenario short of 2 of the 3 undefeateds losing and the SEC back in the natty would be..... KSU shuts down and blows out the Ducks. Notre Dame goes undefeated and gets snubbed thus forcing them into a conference. Then play an SEC team in the Sugar Bowl and get stomped out.
The Sugar picks ahead of the Orange, and it's unlikely that they want anything to do with Louisville.
Lets's hope. I'd much prefer to see alabama ( assuming they win the SEC) defense vs. the high flying Clemson Tigers.
So what NFL team does Chip Kelly coach at next year?
Jax? Philly? Dallas?
Or does he stay....

If he's smart he'll keep riding the hot hand and stay at Oregon a few more years till a better position opens up in the NFL.

I'm usually not too keen on College coaches moving to the NFL, but I wouldnt mind this at all. With Harbaugh and Caroll both coming out of the Pac12 and finding quick success alleviates some of my concerns. I really think the skins need a defensive minded guy, but I'll save that argument for the Stadium.
Oregon typically has a mobile qb and obviously thier team is predicated on speed. Philly w/ vick would be the best fit, but i dont' think he leaves Oregon for that job. in fact i don't think he leaves the west. I could see him replace Norb in San Diego, but its not reallly a fit personnel wise. This is Chips year. if he's ever gonna win the Natty, this seems to be the year to do it. No SEC team appears to be in the way right now. If he does win it. he could leave for the NFL while he's hot. If he loses, he could leave cuz he figures he'll never win it..... that said i don't see either happening.
"Texas A&M Aggies WR Thomas Johnson reported missing"
http://fansided.com/2012/11/14/texas...orted-missing/
Praying for him and his family...I can't even imagine. There is some troubling and sad news coming out of College Station. Texas A&M Aggies wide receiver Thomas Johnson has been reported missing since Monday at 5:00 pm just 48 hour after Texas A&M unseated No. 1 ranked Alabama.
Johnson has been described as a “black male, 18 years of age, 5’11,” 180 lbs., black hair and brown eyes… wearing a black jacket, black shorts and grey shoes.”
He could be traveling to Dallas where he has familiar but there is some concern about his whereabouts.
Edit: The article from the Huffpost http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/1...n_2133653.html
That sounds a little more promising. Hopefully he's just being an irresponsible kid, and it's nothing serious...“At this point we don’t have any reason to believe of anything criminal in nature. Our foremost priority at this time is to see if we can locate him,” Texas A&M spokesman Jason Cook told KBTX in College Station on Wednesday.

I don't think there's any chance he leaves Oregon for Jacksonville. Gabbert stinks. Philly? Maybe. Dallas? Nah. Jerry usually hires puppets. Any NFL job Kelly goes to he'll probably won't some control of the players he gets. He wouldn't get that in Dallas. The team I could see him going to is Carolina. He could probably revitalize Cam's career. I think a lot will depend on how his season turns out this year.
They found the A&M WR and he is alright![]()
I could see Kelly at Philly. He may be able to get another year or two outta Vick.
