ix and Sin I want you to see the old OB crowd when Miami was Miami and kicking Norte Dame's ass. I actually remember these games and Miami used to pack them in the stadium.

I think there are many reasons why Sun Life Stadium just can't get asses in the seats. You have to take in the surroundings for instance. It's no college town like Gainesville, or Tallahasee, where there's not much to do, plus Miami being a transplant kind of city, and also when you consider that UM's history as a football program is pretty much still largely infantile compared to places like Michigan and Alabama, who have been around for a hundred years or so. There aren;t generations and generations of football fans, and I'm sure that a lot of the students there simply don't care all that much.Then you have to factor in Miami's lackluster performance on the field these last 7-8 years

I think the stadium being so far off campus has a little to do with it as well.

Turns out Michigan State sucks without Kirk Cousins

All I heard was how "elite" little brother was or what a "good coach" D'Antonio was, even though the guy is pretty much dirty and low-class. If you thought the Rams were dirty, look at MSU's allegedly good defense and the dirty way they played against Michigan. D'Antonio and Narduzzi are scum.

It's good to see karma catch up to MSU. 17-0 Indiana. "Allegedly good" MSU defense lit up.

It's not just OSU players though, and he is speaking the truth. While this doesn't apply to all college football players, a lot of them get put into cluster majors so they have easier classes and so they dont miss practice. The term student-athlete needs to be thrown out because of the money machine that college football has become. We're talking a lot about this in my graduate sport administration class. Everybody wants to tout the amateurism of college football, but really it has become a minor league for the NFL. At this point its not a matter of should these kids be getting paid to play (they should with the massive amount of money they bring to their programs, and their likenesses being used in games like NCAA Football and their numbers on jerseys in the bookstores) but how do you pay them and have it make sense.
