UF and West Virginia have favorable schedules. UF only goes on the road twice the rest of the season and West Virginia gets all its tough games at home.

Looking forward to S. Carolina @ UF. The 'Ol Ball Coach back in the Swamp for a huge game should be fun.

But WVU's biggest obstacle is probably KST. The SEC teams left in the hunt will take care of each other.

IF, big if, the irish go undefeated they are in the show. they have the tradition, influence and this year the schedule. If they run the table they will be the #1 team in the country. (god i hope not). Interesting conversation if Irish #1 and undefeated Oregon and SEC are there at the end. who do you leave out? (sorry WVU, no offense but i think the big 12 is low man on the totem pole if there are 4 undefeated teams in the league). Personally i think it would be an SEC vs Notre Dame. the "anyone but the SEC for a change" is not a valid arguement. You wanna be the champs you gotta beat the champs. especially when they are the 6x reigning Champs of CFB.

if wvu runs the table their resume is right there w/ anybody. the pac 12 can be argued as better than the big 12 but the strong argument can be made for the big 12, it surely is no slam dunk either way.

and notre dames schedule can go either way. none of the big 10 teams they played are looking very strong. they basically play two fcs (bc and pitt). byu is down. wake is no good. service academies don't count for much. their only real strong wins would be ok, usc & stanford.

What I love about this is that I'm pretty sure Steve Spurrier is on a golf course right now. He makes college football coaches look absolutely ridiculous, and it is awesome. Why did he ever go to the NFL?

Think about this: Urban Meyer proved that if you work so hard that you nearly die AND somehow manage to recruit one of the greatest college football players ever....you can win one more national title than Steve Spurrier.

If not for playing one of the greatest college teams ever (Nebraska 1995 Fiesta Bowl) he could have 2

He also never had the benefit of facing FSU after Bowden stopped caring.

If WVU can't win this, I would love for Spurrier to get another. It would amuse me. (The good thing about having no strong alliances to any D1 college is that I can watch college football strictly for entertainment. If WVU gets to 9-0, it may get a little serious for me though).

Every year Jimbo has these games. Losing at home to UVA last year

It doesn't help that like Ponder, EJ has the stink of losing on him also. For a 5th year senior he should be doing things that Geno Smith is doing (the epitome of a great 5th year senior QB) and not making the silly mistakes he did Saturday

Just to clarify, one of bill Stewart's genuinely stupid moves was playing Geno his freshman year. Geno is a true senior.

Duke is on a roll. i don't see how we hold them to under 30.

I have no idea if the offense will produce more then 30

I am back to take my VT lumps. D sucks. O sucks. ST sucks. Add that up, you have a 7 win season.

On the other hand, FSU also proves me right.
