ND isn't that good. Would be a travesty if they leapfrogged Oregon or KSU

Bama, KSU, Oregon are best 3 teams, in that order

It's not about the best team. It's about which match up would bring in the most money. That's all college football is about these days.

I'm still pissed UNC beat NCSU. But to give credit where it's due, that PR by Bernard was pretty nice.

Just popped into my head, haven't analyzed it.

Freshmen: No combine, no pro days, must be taken within the top 16 picks. If not, eligibility is reinstated in the NCAA.

Sophomores: No combine, pro days allowed, must be taken within the top 32 picks. If not, eligibility is reinstated in the NCAA

If a freshman elects to enter the draft, and is not drafted, he must wait until after his junior year to enter the draft.

    Any holes you see?

RIP Blake Fomby... You will be missed... Love you brother. Hope they keep the roof open at Cowboys Stadium so you can still watch them from up there...

Wouldn't work. No team (that isn't run by Vinny) would take a kid in the first round, just off of a year of tape, with no combine and no pro day. It would be one of those rules that exist just to say that there is a rule, if that makes any sense.

So if Oregon runs the table, and ND and K State do as we'll, Oregon and K State will be playin in worthless bowls while ND and Bama play for t all. **** the BCS. I hope we have a split NC.

The news on South Carolina's Marcus Lattimore is awful: Broken femur and all four knee ligaments torn. Such a shame.
Got a little emotional seeing him get carted off yesterday. One of the saddest things I've ever seen in sports. Not just a great football player, but a great kid as well.

nah, they have to do the combine.

I do like the idea of having players keep their eligibility if they do not sign with an agent. The only reason why there is a deadline date for that is because college coaches want to run these players through the ringer and bring in new bodies... err, have their rosters set.

if you are a Penn State fan, im not sure you should be saying anything negative about another school's integrity.

Judging from my prior remarks on Penn State in this thread, I am the furthest thing from a Penn State fan. In fact, I have said multiple times in this thread how they shouldn't even be allowed to have football this year.

Which brings back to my problem with the rose bowl and conference bowl ties. If 4 undefeateds ND v Bama in miami. Oregon will thump the 3rd best tem in the B1G. The rose bowl is guaranteed to be the wost bowl of the season, hooray tradition!

And Kst will play ?? In the fiesta. LSU? Clemson? USC?At least that will be a good game.

My father-in-law was there (20+ year Gamecocks season ticket holder, and the reason I'm a South Carolina fan). He said that most of the folks in the building were in tears.
