So, it's awfully quiet in here, seeing as Arkansas (a top 10 team) lost to a Div 1-AA team lat week, and another ALMOST lost to one this week. Seems the SEC is top heavy. Just like last year. And the year before. And the year before. Bama and LSU are good. UGA? TBD. SC? Overrated. UF, UT, Arkansas all overrated.

I am a VT fan. We lost to Pitt. I said the Hokes would ave the best defense in the ACC. Sparty will gloat, while ignoring all the predictions he has shanked over the last 3 seasons.

Florida looked good yesterday. I wouldn't put them in the same category as Arkansas.

Early congrats to Alabama for winning the 2012 national championship.

Ok, how bad do you have to be to put up a goose egg in a game? I mean really, field goal range is 30 yards give or take which shortens the field to 70 yards, a touchback puts the ball at the 20 shortening the field to 50 yards. How can a team not put together one drive all game that takes them 50 yards.

Yes Arkansas and Wake Forest I'm looking at you.

Actually, this year a touchback puts the ball at the 25. Even worse.

Are Irish really back? maybe.... after beating Sparty and how bad USC has looked all year long the Irish could run the table and be a dark horse for the Natty.
1). I don't want to see another 'Bama/LSU NC. Once was enough, not again. I'll admit, I was hoping USC would have challenged 'Bama this year, but the way it looks like 'Bama will be the team to beat. If FSU wins next week against Clemson, and maybe turn the table in the ACC, then we will see who will challenge Bama/LSU. I'm still not sold on Oregon after 3 games. I need to see what they do in the Pac-12.

2). Braxton Miller is ok, but not Heisman material just yet. OSU has not really played anyone just yet.

3). I think ND is overrated. Wait til next week, and if they beat Michigan next week, then I might rated them higher. I don't see the Irish running the tables this season. USC still could beat them even though they lost to Stanford last night.

VT never fails to make me laugh at them, year in and year out they always drop the ball

    Oh, I wasn't aware of that change...yeah 45 yards...*sigh*
Add to that the fact that both Arkansas and Wake allowed 50+ points each. I guess it's one thing to lose 3-0 in a heavily defensive game but...to put up 0 and to allow 50+, that's a problem.

Although it will not surprise me if UK football does that sometime this year against an SEC team, losing to WKU...shameful.

Damn VT dropped from the ranks, and Michigan drops one spot

Guess only thing Michigan has to do is beat ND.

OU drops behind Georgia after Georgia allowed 20 points to FAU. Huh.

Technically the Savannah State game was only 2 1/2 quarters. I still doubt they would have scored if they played the whole game though. Im not drinking the FSU defense cool aid till I see how they do against Clemson this week. If they can contain that offense then I'll believe that they're up there behind Alabama.
