I wonder where he, Austin, and Geno go? I would love to see Austin in a Skins uniform, but I can't see us using a 2nd rounder on him (plus I wonder if Tavon will go in the late first round anyways).

I think you are both right. Austin can be a Percy Harvin type. If he gets into an offense with another WR that can take the top off a defense, he'll be extremely effective.

Stedman I think projects into a Victor Cruz type guy. Knows how to run routes and get open, catches EVERYTHING. Doesnt blow you away with his physical gifts. He SHOULD have wont the Biletnikoff. He had essentially the same catches and yardage as Lee, but 23 TDs rather than 14.


Anyone watching the SDSU v. BYU game? You shouldnt be. Its a snoozer. This kid Escobar, the TE, is pretty legit though.

I know we have way too many holes and it won't happen and if it did it probably wouldn't be the best decision.....but I at the thought of tavon and rg3 with garçon taking the top off...

I agree, especially with the return of Helu (and maybe Davis, depending on his contract/recovery situation). We would be one of the top 3 fastest offenses in the NFL. Probably the fastest

Yea, as the 3rd guy in the backfield when they run the option. Pick your poison: The handoff to Morris to the right. So, cover that and THEN cover the counter option to the left with RGIII and Tavon as the pitchman. Good luck with that.

Some guy (forgetting his name) on the radio the other night was saying he felt like Chip Kelly's offense wouldn't work in the NFL, because his running backs would constantly be carted off the field. I don't watch a whole lot of college football, but I assume West Virginia's offense is similar to Oregon's?..Not saying this guy is gonna be right or not, but it's something to think about.

Some seriously piss poor officiating. Austin gets drilled 3 yards out of bounds no flag. Phantom personal foul, no explanation, no number, announcers were baffled...took wvu out of scoring range.

WVU offense is similar to Oregons pretty much in how they line up, not much more. Oregons offense is actually rich rods wvu offense. Running spread....Kelly visited Morgantown more than once in the Rodriguez era.

Oregon's offense is ran at a faster pace than RIch Rod's WVU offense ever was.

Also Oregon has better athletes.

Better athletes has nothing to do with the conversation. Kelly has added his own stuff and tempos may vary but it is RR's offense, started at glenville college, taking Tulane to an undefeated season with Patrick Ramsey and turning woody dantzler into a legit heisman candidate @ clemson



And will Kelly bolt right before sanctions? We've never seen that.
