Why is he still allowed to kick?
SEC really needs to break the agreement with CBS. This coverage is terrible. Danielson is blinded by his love of Bama. At one point he said Nice when Bama got a first down. Half of their cameras have rain dripping on the lense.

Mitch: Note to self: Remember no matter how bad life gets, there is always beer!
VT's defense hasn't been elite for years. Combine that with a stone-age offense which makes the **** Alabama runs look modern...and Virginia Tech isn't that good, sad to say
I really wish VT would modernize their damn offense. Biggest thing holding them back, I've said it time and time again. Logan isn't an elite quarterback, and they lost their best WR to injury for the whole season.

Well, at least UVA didn't show up today.
What are we supposed to be looking at in that picture?
empty stands
RIP royallypwned.
It's the empty stands. You should have seen Miami's empty stands.![]()
Pretty sure this is you trying to stir the pot a little, after I posted the pic of Sun Life while mocking Miami.
The FSU crowd was a little sorry today, but those mostly empty sections shown are general attendance sections, and more importantly, in the top left corner, the visiting team section. Wake Forest brought maybe a couple hundred fans to Tallahassee (the ACC is, indeed, a basketball conference).
And honestly, attending a noon game in September in Tallahassee is just brutal. It's in the low-90s, it feels even hotter standing on the metal bleachers of Doak Campbell with no breeze of any kind, and you're lucky (or you're already really tan) if you're not sunburned by half-time. Doesn't help morale when you're playing a team that Vegas has you favored by 30 points against.
Going to noon games in September while Jeff Bowden was still running the "jump ball" offense probably required a degree of masochism.
The south endzone is the last area to fill up. Not too mention that the corner to the left is meant for visiting team fans, of which not a lot showed up today. Also noon kickoffs with 90+ degree heat tend to scare some of the less hardcore away. I can assure you the north endzone and the sidelines had a decent turnout. A downfall to having an 83,000 seat stadium is that not every seat will be filled every week, but there were certainly 65,000+ out there today. Enough to fill up Lane stadium..
Id reserve judgment to see how Clemson goes next week. I dont think we'll break the 84,392 attendance record we set last year against Oklahoma, but I think we have a shot get close.
Edit: Damn it once again sparty beat me to it. But hes right. The sun was brutal today and only a stray cloud here and there provided refuge. I stupidly went in with the no sun screen and I'll be paying the price today and tomorrow.
