You sir have laid a golden egg. In my first semester I have loved learning about the traditions of FSU, that would be a very entertaining show to learn about the rest. Maybe ESPN could take some time off of their Tebow coverage and chef that up.

I'm down for that, but you know that at least one SEC team will be in the BCS championship.

Of course, ESPN would assign Kenny Mayne to it and he would destroy any value out of it.

Maybe. I can see the LSU/Alabama winner losing to A&M. It probably won't happen...but if it does, how does the SEC keep it's streak going, especially if there are 2 undefeated teams from the ACC, Pac12, or B12?

Pretty sure they have that show on ESPNU (ESPNU Road Trip). A male and female host travel around to different universities, and experience the week leading up to a big game. VT hosted last season -- and lost to Clemson.

And they went to the bars in Blacksburg and ate at the restaurants.

I would love to see that. I'd root for FL State for ACC pride, but it wouldn't bother me if WVA won. Anything to end the SEC's run. I think the Mountaineers and Seminoles are the two teams that could go toe to toe with the SEC (Bama or LSU). Rooting for Auburn to knock off LSU this weekend.

Damn, missed it. Sounds like fun. I always enjoy college campuses so that show would be great to watch.

Shocked the ACC peeps haven't posted this yet.

Had this system been in place last year, the ACC champ would have been spared the extremely embarassing loss it received.

    http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoot...he-2014-season

he Orange Bowl matchup in the new playoff era has been finalized multiple sources told CBSSports.com on Wednesday.

The ACC champion will play the highest-ranked team among Notre Dame and available teams from the SEC and Big Ten beginning after the 2014 season.

The pairing finalizes the matchups for the three "contract" bowls – Rose, Champions, Orange -- keeping a large majority of the revenue in the playoff structure in the five power conferences.

ESPN.com first reported that the Orange Bowl was finalizing a deal with Notre Dame, the SEC and Big Ten. The latest move completes how the playoff structure will look beginning after the 2014 season. Three other “access” bowls – not contracted to a team or conference – have yet to be determined.

The Orange Bowl is close to a deal that will ditch the Big East and replace them with a team from the Big Ten, SEC or Notre Dame.

My take: the dominoes continue to fall which will ultimately end up in the Big East dissolving. The last card they had was the Orange Bowl. As far as the OB goes, this is a great move for them as now the game will have much more entertainment value not too mention money making value in bringing in teams with better traveling fan bases.

Like I said before, this does 2 things. 1.) Take away the last piece of the pie the Big East had essentially signing its death warrant. 2.) Increasing the profitability of the orange bowl,as now its much more likely that the game will include 2 teams with well traveling fan bases. Something the Big East doesnt have in football.

Be careful, you might end up with schools like Pitt or Wake Forest representing your conference.

That said, it make more sense than possibly losing to a BE team every few years. Now you can lose every year to a B10 or SEC team.

    j/k

    Alabama would crush either team.

Based on what? The eyeball test?

Unfortunately, I don't see either team making it through their conference unblemished. Although, FSU might have the easier and better chance.

Bullcrap. Just like every team, they have flaws. FSU has the best chance as I think their D-Line is really stout and I'm not sure Bama could keep up with their speed on offense. Stop the pass, Sems run on you. Stop the run, they pass. WVA could keep up offsively, not sure about their defense. That looks a little suspect.

You seriously believe that Alabama doesn't have the athletes to keep up with Florida State? Nick Saban vs. Jimbo Fisher and you'd go with Fisher? Yikes.

WVU's offense would look like every other high flying Big 12 offense does when they face the SEC in the BCS championship. Plus, defensively WVU is soft as hell and the Tide would have a field day on the ground and through the air.

I said FSU has the best chance, I wasn't predicting they'd whip Alabama. I just want to see a NC without an SEC team for once.

Bama can be beat, just ask FAU DE Cory Henry.

Me too. If there is any defense that could go toe to toe with Alabamas defense as the best this season it would have to be FSU's at this point. FSU is really looking like Bama-lite this year. Suffocating defenses, offenses that run the ball, control the clock, limit mistakes and do what they need to in order to win the game. Although I'll admit that Alabamas O line is far more physical and experienced then FSU's at this point. I think that and Mccarron would give Bama the edge. Although I would probably take FSU's receivers over Bamas.

But back to what you said. i dont care who it is, I just want to see someone else at least playing in the national championship even if they have to face Bama. I just dont see the high flying offenses of WVU, Clemson, or Oregon matching up well against Bamas defense.

The only thing in Florida State's game that worries me is their offensive line. Other than that, I think they can go toe to toe with Bama or LSU.
