Keep McFadden and pray like hell that he can stay healthy for at least 14 games, and if he does he'll finish as a top 5 back, if not higher.

Thats tough. I would consider trading him for those picks depending on who everyone else is keeping. You would then have what 2 2nd round picks and 2 3rd round picks. That would be pretty nice. But like i said it would depend on who everyone else is keeping in your league.

Thanks for the responses. I'm seeing both sides to this, tough decision. FWIW, the keepers (as of now) are (in no particular order):
    Drew Brees
    Chris Johnson
    Calvin Johnson
    Michael Vick
    Ray Rice
    McFadden
    MJD
    Cam Newton
    Matt Forte
    Larry Fitzgerald
    LeSean McCoy
    Adrian Peterson
    Aaron Rodgers
    Arian Foster
    Jimmy Graham
    Tom Brady

McFadden is really good...when healthy easily a top 5 back. With Ray Rice as your RB1, it's worth taking a "risk" on an injury prone stud like him. I'd pick up a reliable back sooner than later to fill in for a few games that he may miss--and you could always snag the healthy Cedric Benson later on.

There's definitely risk involved with McFadden, I had him last year! But just the potential of having 2 top 5 RBs is worth the risk IMO. You'll have a leg up on the rest of the league at RB and can focus on QB and WR instead.

^^ Good point. I have had McFadden for the past two seasons and he's been both a blessing and a curse .

But, you're right. I could always pick up a Helu or Hardesty type back in later rounds and focus on QBs and WRs. I think I may go that route.

    Thanks!

I've had McFadden as a keeper since he entered the league. He was leading the NFL in rushing last year when he got hurt. I kept thinking, YES, this is finally the year. Then wham.

    Brady v. Brees

Who do you like as the 2nd QB off the board?
"[RG3] is the best throwing athlete I've seen come out in a while. Far better than Michael Vick, in my opinion. Far better than Cam Newton."

That's tough. Don't think there really is a wrong choice, but I'd lean Brady. Not sure how much the Saints will miss Payton this year.

I feel like both have the potential to get you tons of points, but I'd have to lean on Brady. Their TE package presents effective weapons that only lift his ceiling higher...

I like Brady as the first QB off the board.

Rodgers is off since the Giants game. Didn't look good in the preseason and something tells me that Brees will fade late without his coach to design a play.

It was a 12 man, but some were new and took some players way too high, giving me an advantage.

Nicks is likely to outproduce Austin, but he does have an injury history. RG3 is most likely to outproduce Locker. If Locker is your starter right now then yes, make that trade immediately. If RG3 will be the back up I'd still make the trade, BUT only if you are deep at WR.

Raiders know how to run. Sucks Bush left since he was a great handcuff. Though I believe Taiwan Jones is the back up now, and if so he is worth a late round pick up as a handcuff.

Your're right about Jones being the backup, but my gut says Mike Goodson will eventually be in that role. He was real effective here in Carolina when Stewart and Williams went down.

Good point pj, and that is a battle to keep attention to given McFadden's health situation. If he does stay healthy I agree with hunterx that he's a top 5 back.

He's only for depth and can be cut/is expendable, worth a late shot though.

For your keepers I definitely agree with Rice since odds are against you picking top 2 where you could get him otherwise.

McFadden is worth a mid-to-late first rounder, so i would ask for his 2nd rounder and the 3rd rounder, you give him a 12th, not complete bottom pick but close. Otherwise I'd stick with Mcfadden since at round 2 that is good value and you're RBs are set, which are a rare commodity now. Just draft Taiwan Jones later as insurance, or take Ryan Williams or Royster later one, or even draft a Gore or Redman as your flex since Gore is going 4th or 5th round right now and Redman 8th.
