It took 5 weeks but I got my first screwjob loss of the season. I'm up 2.5 points with under 3 minutes left in last night's game. My opponent has the Texans D.

On consecutive plays Houston gets a sack and INT for a total of 3 points giving him a .5 point lead. I could still salvage a win with 14 yards on the final play of the game (which is completely plausible on some wacky lateral play) to take away a yardage point from Houston. Instead, JJ Watt gets what seems like his 57th pass deflection of the game. Game over, season likely over (1-4 following the loss). FML

For my 3rd WR (or flex, but I don't have a decent #3 back) should I start Nate Washington (Titans, vs. Pitt) or Randall Cobb (GB, vs. Houston)?

Funny, because I was nearly in the same situation as you but I won by 0.38 because the Jets didn't throw a likely INT or worse, lose the ball via fumble due to a billion laterals.

I recieved MJD, Tate and Crabtree.

My starting lineup now looks like:

    QB: RG3
    RBs: MJD and AP
WRs: Calvin Johnson, Vincent Jackson and D. Jackson
    TE: Jimmy Graham
    FLEX: Trent Richardson
    K: Tynes

I have been picking up DEFs each week based on matchups. What do you think about the trade. Did I upgrade my team?
Any responses to this post I made. Wondering if you think it was a good trade for me?

Which 3 RB's would you start?

    Steven Jackson vs Miami
    Fred Jackson vs Arizona
    Stevan Ridley vs Seattle
    Mikel Leshoure vs philadelphia

Should I drop Romo? I just realized it he has only put up 47 points this year, I wish I would have never drafted him.

Let him go, bro. I also drafted Romo, behind Brees and Matt Ryan. Romo is one of the worst QBs in the league. He blows this year so far. Let him go. I just did last week.

I agree. I drafted Romo and RG3. Since I dropped Romo and picked up Fitzpatrick.

Provided it goes through, I've ironically just picked him up in a trade. (Matt Schaub and Ryan Grant departing for Romo and Doug Martin.).

My starting QB is Ryan, and with Dallas playing Carolina in the Falcons bye week, I figure that's a great match-up to put Romo in. (Martin's the guy I really wanted.).

Who's your other QB? I'd hang fire until you see how/ if Dallas have adjusted coming off the bye. I certainly wouldn't outright cut him. Yes, he's been poor this year, culminating in the woeful 5 INT Monday night outing last time out. But if he/ they get it together, he's FAR too valuable a fantasy commodity to just cut IMHO. When that O's rolling, it's a points machine. And you gota' figure Romo will turn his form around with 12 games still to play.

    Hail.

I'd play either of them this week with the more favorable match-up's and maybe offer Romo as trade bate whilst you see how the Dallas O goes the next few weeks.

But I certainly wouldn't outright cut him like some have suggested. I might be wrong and he might suck all year. But you gota' figure both he and that high powered Dallas D will click sooner rather than later.

    Hail.

    Tough matchups all around...

I'd go with the Jackson's and Ridley personally. I'm taking a huge chance with my flex this week. I'm going with David Wilson against the 49ers D. Just have a feeling that is the better play than Jordy Nelson against Houton's pass defense. For now anyway

Just hope Wilson goes nuts soon if he gets the chance to...

So in need of RB's..I picked up both Green and Starks from the waiver wire. I'm expecting Starks to actually get the start since he can block...but I'm guessing I will make the decision pregame on which to play.

I just did the same thing. I've got Brees and Marqus Colston on bye this week, and I can see Ponder tearing up the skins secondary. I just put in a trade to try and pick up Percy Harvin as well. Those two should hook up a lot on Sunday.

Yeah, I had Benson and it really blows that he went down. From what I can tell, Green is the vastly superior RB talent wise. I scooped him up too, but will wait and see how they use him.
