I'm trying my best to like this game. The lag sucks, hit reg sucks, and the spawns are the worse of any cod game yet. All of them are things that can be addressed.

You all need to try the KSI shotgun. Finally a gun that rewards you for skill. Pump action slug. Very accurate within 50 feet. Torso 1hit kill. Unlock long barrel and it gets even better. I'm sniping kids with the slug pretty easily.

It's a pretty ****ing awful game, and I love COD.

Laser sight is one of dumbest things I've ever seen. Steady aim on steroids with virtually no drop off at any range.

Lag seems to be a problem with every COD game since MW2 when the game is first released. It usually takes a week or two, and an update or two until everything is fine tuned just right.

This is the curse of being an early adopter of the game, you get to be the guinea pig for everything that works & doesn't work.

I remember all the same complaints for MW2, Black Ops, & MW3 when they first came out.

i don't really know if that describes them accurately. BF3 is horrible by yourself. But if you have a group of aggressive friends, or better yet, 11 of them, you can straight run and gun, and dominate all day. i didn't change the way i played bf3 compared to any of the CoDs, and i still do work on people. no one really expects the dude who doesn't sit behind cover non-stop. i do work on CoD playing the same exact way. i'm not the best player, but being super aggressive makes up for a lot of my short fallings.

oh, and i hate to break it to everyone, but BF3 and CoD don't really require a lot of skill. in BF3, having 3 teammates totally changes the game. there's plenty of scrubs at work that suck hard when they solo, but once you get 3 people that cover his back, they become machines. It's much harder to take 2 or 3 people on in Halo (minus if you have a power weapon), or gears, compared to these two games. in halo you can actually turn around if you get hit from behind. in CoD, the other person has to be really bad if he can't get you from behind. i say it everytime a new halo comes out, that it is probably the most balanced multiplayer, even though i'm not a big fan of it because of the way the shots get fired.

anyways, i did the league match thing and got a solo rank of silver, almost gold in 6 matches. cool thing about this is you don't have to wait for guns to unlock. everything is unlocked! and it levels you up in the main multiplayer as well. but i pretty much agree with TT on this game. maybe it'll grow on me, but i wish they would have just tweaked BO1, added a few new weapons from the future, and called it a day. the maps are putrid.

I'm with Viper in that I want to like it and there are some things that I do. But the lag is really weird. I normally sport a 2.3ish kd ratio in these games and it seems I'm a split second too slow, when I never have been before. The map design is odd as well, there isn't a map I hate, and there isn't one I love, there really aren't any I like either, which is why it's odd. The gun selection and attachments are nice I suppose.

I've been using the first pre-set class here and there. Ghost & Scavenger with C4, smoke, and an SMG with a really fast rate of fire. The LMG called the LSAT is a beast at medium range, and I'm slowly working on unlocking select fire for the SWAT.

Most people are still below level 50, UAVs are being spammed right now, and I'm not seeing many silencers. The mini map makes it feel like I'm playing Asteroids from Atari.

You don't lose your weapon unlocks when prestiging, whew. My ratio is HURTIN boy, dang! Haven't been this low since I started playing COD4. Crazy ass Nuketown objective rushing has a lot to do with it, but even so, it's rough goings on the other maps as well.

I completely agree. I'm down from a 4ish K/D to 2. I've probably already accumulated more losses in 2 days of Blops2 than in a year of MW3. I think the lag and hit detection are the main problem, they just don't allow any consistency in 1on 1.

The biggest problem with the maps is the spawns. The spawns flip constantly. Whenever I kill someone, I turn around and get ready to kill him again because I know he's going to spawn behind me. When the spawns are constantly flipping there won't ever be a center point of action on a map. Without a center point every map is terrible. I feel like I'm playing free for all in TDM.

Also, screw treyarch for giving us crappy nuketown instead of firing range.

I got Black Ops 2 for the Zombies. I knew the multiplayer would suck... Well after playing for 2-days I can now say that the MP is really bad (lag is awful) and Zombies is amazing. No suprises at all.

i love CoD and Halo. But I still think I prefer Halo more. Some other have mentioned some of the reasons already, but I think its overall more balanced multiplayer and I like the campaign better too.

Don't get me wrong I love CoD, especially CoD 4. But I don't think I've bought a CoD since MW2. Its turning into the new Madden where a new game comes out every year with slight tweaks but no major upgrades.

Treyarch is killing my love of first-person shooters. The lag for me was so bad in MW3 that I just stopped playing it...and I LOVE MW. Black Ops is their baby but it is too cartoonish for my taste. I cannot stand Battle Field so I am basically left without a good shooter now.

I just hope they get the matchmaking fixed so that I can play with my buddies when I get home from work today. Yesterday, the only thing that we could join we're league matches. I want to level up.

The one thing that is pretty disappointing is the lack of new game types. They also removed team tactical. So dumb. Also removing the 2v2 and 3v3 playlists from MW3 sucks. So far BO2, besides the new gun system, has taken a step backwards.
