Anyone try the Eagle Eye Converter for PS3 to use a mouse and keyboard? http://www.penguinunited.com/

If so, were you pleased with the results once you got the proper calibration set or was it crappy? Ive read a lot of mixed reviews, the good ones state that you need to spend some time getting it configured properly for the game you are going to play, most of the bad reviews seem to be from people that probably thought they could plug and play right away or dont have a compatable keyboard/mouse. Looks bad-ass to me since I cant aim too great with my thumbs, thinking about buying one.

hell yeah man, that's all you'd really need.

I've read a lot of favorable opinions for that 3-round burst SMG. I'm trying to like it, but it just isn't getting the job done for me. maybe it needs grip and laser sight

Or do you have to use the controller? I have a hard time running and aiming with my thumbs, Im a WASD kind of guy

I haven't heard of any mouse and keyboards that actually work well, but if you could get one to work you would have a huge advantage.

Just stole a care package with the Death Machine. First time using it, died 6 times in a row. What a POS.

Finally tried the Lodestar tonight, and holy crap, it's amazing. Lightning strike + orbital VSAT makes it easy to get. Don't think the warship and dogs are as difficult to get as they once seemed.

Had a lot more success with the PDW tonight. Took off the silencer and laser sight and put adjustable stock/fast mags. Aiming down sight with adjustable stock makes this gun feel so much better, screw the laser beam. Hipfiring is still effective, feel like I focus on the beam too much. 75 headshots with the PDW.

Isn't that kind of... well... cheating? It's a huge advantage that wasn't intended by the makers of the game. The game is designed for headsets... But it's not designed, on consoles, for a keyboard/mouse set up.

I tried something that was similar on MW. The left hand had something like a nunchak that was for all of the stuff on the left side of the controller. The right side was a mouse. I hated it. It wasn't as accurate as I would have liked and didn't feel the same as a PC. I have a feeling that the converter would yield similar results.

When I hear keyboard/mouse I envision Rainbow Six, the original. It was all about reflexes. Being able to play keyboard/mouse on CoD would be a huge advantage if it worked that way. *shrug*

Yeah it would be. I have heard rumors that the next generation of consoles will have the capability to use a mouse and keyboard. The consoles have built in auto aim, to help people aim with controllers. The PC version doesn't have it because you shouldn't need it with a mouse, so a mouse on consoles+ built in auto aim would be sooo easy to kill people.

    **sigh**

The path towards the select fire for the FN FAL has been a tough one. My K/D has been suffering as I continue to lose 1v1 shootouts to hip-firing skorpions and MP7s against my semi-auto AR.

I'm a stat whore, and I take pride in my SPM. Part of me wants to sit back and play "defensively" with my FN FAL and rack up the unlocks towards the select fire , but I can feel my SPM drop as I sit back and defend objectives. It drives me nuts so I just end up sprinting towards the bad guy's spawn
